I thought the art style and the overlap in weapon usage would be a negative for me, but it ended up not. Being forced to grind citadel mode was a little frustrating, but overall I liked it. I have more hours on SW4DX though.

A beloved game of my favorite gameseries that holds as dear as Dynasty Warriors. I do hope they keep making more of Samurai Warriors since this was a good game but also since they kinda "rebooted" the visuals compared to the earlier Samurai Warriors entries. This is also a good introduction for musou games for those that haven't tried it yet. :)

It’s a fresh game, but it reminds me of SW2, which is very good. At first, I wasn’t impressed, but as I kept playing, I realized it’s a great game — better than SW4, at least. It’s still not what the series used to be in the early games, but it’s a big improvement.

Love this game. They should've given Hideyoshi and Ieyasu adult models because Ieyasu talking about his son who looked like a middle aged man while looking like a 14 year old was weird. 8/10.

Im familiar with the WARRIORS series, and i like it a lot, the game so far is really fun. but i have one thing to say about the co-op option is that it`s terrible and extremely stupid, as you can only play together if BOTH of you have CLEARED the map in question already, even in citadel, or free mode, which defeats the point of going through the game together
