Schastye was alright. The story was decent, but not much happens gameplay-wise. I basically had to finger my keyboard for 15 minutes straight just to reach the climax— and honestly, I’ve had more satisfying finishes.

It’s a very short story put into a video game medium. I found this way of reading it very atmospheric and immersive, click clacking away at my keyboard waiting for what comes next. The pixelated room is cozy, with a radio host speaking in the distance and heavy rain behind the window. It's not a game for everyone but I enjoyed it immensely

I really enjoyed this- the game is really funny when the ending recontextualizes it. Who's Lila makes it even funnier when you learn that the computer probably wasnt even for the duration of this game, hilarious. Besides that, Schastye is incredibly atmospheric and conceptually intriguing. You keep waiting for the horror to show it's face in the room...

idk why so much hate on this. it's clearly a little indie game, an experiment, not meant to be anything too complex. you "write" the interesting story about the protagonist, that's all. you just read what you're typing. just consider that and chose if you want to buy this. personally i appreciated the experimental way of his storytelling

I thought it was interesting and the story was entertaining enough BUT the typing mechanic similar to Emily is away was cumbersome and caused me to miss the ending because I was spamming the keys and accidentally pressed a few too many ending the game before I could read it. Still worth a play if you want something short and intriguing
