First of all, if you're buying this game thinking it's an actual game, you're gonna be disappointed. This "game" is more of an art project. This "game" makes you think about existence and its origin, the meaning of life. If you enjoy philosophy and you're searching for something that will make you question things, this is for you. I still enjoyed it, but I was a bit disappointed that it's not an actual game. It has almost no interaction, but the price is fair.

In the context of Garage Heathen's other games, Schastye gives more context to the lore of the setting these games take place in. On it's own, the story is interesting and the atmosphere is immersive, but I imagine it leaves much to be desired for people who aren't familiar with Garage Heathen's works and are playing this as a one-off.

This is a great game, but ONLY IN THE CONTEXT OF WHO'S LILA. Without that game, this game is completely incomprehensible and a waste of money. Play Who's Lila first, then this one. But with Who's Lila, it's an interesting, fulfilling experience that adds to the lore greatly.

I bought the Missing Calm bundle and am going through all of its games in release order. This was the fourth. This is a game that I feel conflicted on; it is very simple and very short, and the rapid typing needing to advance the game is cool especially with how it ties into the plot and frustrating because of how much you will need to dance your fingers to finish the story. The time to finish the story is made worse with how often crashes occur when interacting with objects (in the very well-designed room); I experienced three crashes, once with the lightswitch, once with the door, and once (first one) with something that I forgot, probably the lightswitch again. Exiting the door does save what you have typed, but a crashed game makes you lose your progress since your last exit. So, avoid interacting with the room once you begin typing at the computing. The story, as it is typed on the computer, is shockingly well-written and a continued improved in English translation that began with Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk . There is excellent foreshadowing, and the difference is diction of the author's story before he arrived in the room and after that is very noticeable, which helps show the author's state-of-mind and shifts the game's tone. The changes at the story's end are even better. But, getting there is a slog if you do not become invested in what is really a short story (as in an itty-bitty novel). Due to the number of crashes that I experienced, I struggle to recommend this game despite the fact that it is probably my second-favorite in the bundle. But, I overcome the struggle to give it a thumbs-up because this story, unlike what other reviews have said, is best told as a video game, not a piece of literature. Still, get this game through the Missing Calm bundle because that also comes with Milk .
