This game is so captivating that it almost feels like you're watching a real life film with turn based choices. The plot is captivating, full of tension and mystery solving. It was tricky to hunt for achievements, but the effort made obtaining them feel satisfying.

It is an enjoyable, interactive movie with some intriguing plot twists and cinematography. I would recommend English subtitles and Russian voices if you are English-speaking. There are a couple of bugged issues, but they don't disrupt a couple of hours of entertainment. 1.) There are a couple of scenes that don't impact the game, and the dialogue doesn't match the choices you made (e.g., I destroyed the drugs, but the protagonist says the drugs are still in the vent). 2.) I cannot get the Timeline achievement which is very frustrating, even though I believe I have seen all the scenes. My folder of game files shows all 62 scenes, but the game says I have only watched 61 scenes. :( Regardless, it was an entertaining couple of hours, but you have to play through the whole story about 8 times to see all the scenes.

I'm wonderfully surprised and impressed by the cinematography, fight choreography and overall acting from the cast. The story is simple, effective and well told. There's enough foreshadowing for all the visual-arts and lit nerds to go crazy about. My first play-through was a relatively short one. But it was enough for me to figure out who the "culprit" was even before the big reveal. The director knows how to deliver. My first run was in English, albeit it easier to watch the scene without having to simultaneously read the subs and the overall EN dub was quite decent, I personally found it a bit stiff. I would recommend playing this with the Russian audio and EN subtitle, if you're like me and prefer a more nuanced and more natural voice-oriented line delivery. Each playthrough would net you roughly 40mins at most. It's worth playing through all the endings. Each endings are different possible outcomes, but also gives you an extra glimpse into the character's backstory and what lead to the event. Well...what 'lead' to--you can gather clues on how the character gathered their information and how they managed to get to the scene in question. Overall, the production team is on fire. They do take into account the choices you've made and the scene rolls accordingly. I've played a few interactive movies in the past. This one is by far my favourite. The action scenes does not disappoint.

She Sees Red is a short FMV game about a murder investigation in a nightclub, where you watch the actions of both the killer and the detective. Despite the short length, there are multiple branching paths and endings, so it’s definitely worth playing at least a couple of times. I had only two problems with the game : First, the Timeline achievement, where you have to unlock all scenes. This turned out to be quite annoying because only some scenes can be skipped on repeat playthroughs, but others cannot, so you end up watching the same parts over and over again. At some point, it becomes exhausting. For the record, you need to complete the game at least 8 times to get this achievement. Second, the game is quite short. But since it’s cheap during sales, looks great, has good acting, and an interesting story, the short length isn’t a big problem.
