Let's see, i would recommend this game for fans of the original Simon the sorcerer. It hit's the nostaligia. For everyone else it depends if you like click and point, it might be for you. Stil : this comic stil goes well with this game 7/10 Difficulty : some Puzzles are just try and error others to easy 5/10 Story : The story is fine 6/10 Music : Also fine 5/10 Gamelenght : very short game, if you aren't stuck might be weven shorter then 4hours, i guess up to 8-10 hours if you're going for 100%. IMO get the game in a sale. It's worth playing.

The overload inventory is mandatory for a good Pont & Click Adventure. Origin fully delivers on that. Story is good, the puzzles are a bit too tricky on some parts. I mean yes, in a P&C Game you can't make mistakes, just Trial and Error on everything, combine everything with anything etc etc. but some solutions were a bit too far from plausible. A lot of fourth wall gags in it and since it's a prequel you meet people you may or may not already know from the Original Games. Anyway, I had fun, the price is fully okay. If I would play it again it may would feel rushed since you know the solutions already. In your first playthrough it sure takes a while. https://youtu.be/6Cb7yYPITs4?si=8B0nHSsq8sAP-TyV

It's not bad, but not fully up to the standards of the classic point and click games we grew up with. The story and graphics are OK. Duration is a bit short, finished the whole game in 6,5 hours. The areas feel a bit empty and there aren't that many dialogues. Some of the puzzles are counterintuitive for example opening a trapdoor with a fork Overall probably not worth it for the price tag, but it gets a thumbs up because we need to encourage developers to keep making 2D point and click adventure games. However, if you are not in a rush to play it, wait for a sale.

Short little adventure game. Had lots of cute refrences to the original games. I liked it.

This game had enormous footsteps to fill - did it manage to do so? Not quite... but it still is great to see Simon again! The animations and visuals are great, voice acting is decent for an indie game, and they did capture Simon's character pretty well. Overall, the story is fun to play! What it lacks from my point of view is depth - the world seems rather "shallow" with only few NPCs with limited dialogue options, linear story progression, and what I personally missed most: funny comments from Simon when trying to use or combine false items (instead of witty remarks you just get the usual "Hm that does not seem to work").
