this game is insanely good. theres so many factors that affect how the run turns out and its amazing how all the ponies have specific roles in the town that all connect in a way. you can bake cakes that have various effects on the pony you deliver it to (if they dont throw it out) and theres just so many decisions you can make that could leave a positive or negative impact on you. every detail and choice you can make may confuse a new player but once its super fun and addicting trying to outsmart all the ponies and plan your kills, moves, when you plant evidence, give somepony a cake etc.. theres just so many cool little things you can do and its really fun to expirement with different strategies to kill them. an amazing game i couldnt recommend it more. also all the achievements are fun too. also dont forget to kill your disciple because he'll ♥♥♥♥ you over if you dont :P
This game is truly a pure work of art. Everything about this game is really good, so much that it made me write my first ever positive review on Steam. Found it completely randomly while searching for the first one after over +8 years of not even thinking about it. It's about playing as a murderous nag like the game description says, and killing ponies. You don't have to murder everyone but you can anyway. The game allows you to approach the murders in many different ways. From outright going to a pony's house at night and stabbing them to death to planting evidence and framing other ponies so they could get lynched by the town, sending death letters, making ponies commit suicide out of fear, gaslighting others into believing someone else is the killer and so on all while the entire town is losing their sanity and people are investigating you. Seriously, there are so many ways you can get ponies killed in this game, and the fact that this game is still in early access. Expecting more to come. The game looks aesthetically like gen 4 MLP and I really like that about it. Trust me, you don't have to be a brony to like this game. I've never even watched a single episode of MLP but this game might make me consider doing that. There's plenty of great art in the game and the dev puts in fan art in it too. Not once did I think that the game would be better if it had people instead of ponies. The music is also pretty great so much that I've even bought the soundtrack for the game. I can't really describe it well but it's good and it gets stuck in your head. There are a lot of tracks to choose and you can even customize the play order or outright remove tracks that you don't want to listen to as well as shuffle them. You can also play in pretty much any way you want. Game is too hard for you? You can use modifications that makes it easier. Too easy? Plenty of challenge mods and the ability to edit how many ponies there are in the game as well the the time limit before you fail. Not to mention that you can customize your own ponies in the editor as well as edit logos and make cool pixel art. A really underrated gem, this game is one known YouTuber video away from becoming popular. I bet that once the game gets more traction, there will be people making lore videos about it. Game is so good that I played it for over 6 hours in a single session and that was before the beta update that added more content. For the price, this game is an absolute steal and you should play it right now. Not to mention that the dev listens to player feedback and there will be more content being added in the future. Masterpiece of a game!
This is perhaps the wildest combo I would have imagined but if you want a single player town of salem game where you are always the serial killer with some added mechanics and secrets, this is it. Honestly quite a bit of good content for only 6 dollars, which hardly buys you a good burger these days.
