I absolutely fell in love with this little gem of a game the moment it booted up. There is so much style, from the art direction to the sound design to the characters and world. It may be short, but the time you enjoy spending in the world is worth the price of admission, especially on sale. The gameplay is pretty basic, exploration and platforming, finding secrets and upgrades while tagging up the place with spray-paint. It's the funny quips of dialogue from odd characters, the cartoonish vhs aesthetic, and the outrageous world itself that keeps you coming back for more. side note* I liked this game so much in fact, that I changed my avatar(at the time of writing this) and even downloaded all the assets to make ringtones and notifications for my phone using the game's sound effects.

I was so high i spent most my game time so far on the laptop screen. Then i walked around a bit appreciating the absolutely mental art style. But then the munchies hit and i went to go make a frozen Burrito. 20/10 game so far.

Literally adult swim the game. I haven't had this much awe for the style and presentation of a game in a while. Excellent Toon shader, lush tunes and just great game feel in general. From doing shrooms (zone) to smoking cigs while platforming in this wacky open world reminded me of all of the cool alt behaviours I idolize in my youth. The fact that the whole thing had a backdrop of some commentary on society. The whole let's protest because of the evil capitalist overlord who owns everything and pollutes the enviro is cute but remains cute to me, it stood out at first but as a critical thinker it did not challenge me in new ways I have not seen before. Additionally never thought I could go through a glorified collectathon with pretty much no guide. All in all so many notes particularly gaemplay wise that would be important for me as a dev. Like subtle stuff, rotating camera on strafe, a fucking latpop UI with programs for the pause menu (specifically brilliant)

Fun casual game, it took me 3 hours to get all 3 endings and find all the graffiti tags. Basically in this game you run around this comical cartoon weird little slimy industrial area / mini city and find places to spray paint graffiti tags. That is it, there is no real main story to the game other than that. The fun comes in all the weird characters you meet and interesting things you see along the way. I highly suggest turning off some of the graphic options that make the game wavy, fuzzy etc, some of the aesthetics can be a bit too nauseating with these options on. Overall 7 / 10

one of the most atmospheric games i've ever played, highly recommend if you want to roleplay a loser who tags everything and lives on a garbage island
