This game is genuinely one of the greatest games I've played in years. The story is so good that I sunk 8 hours in without even realizing in my first session. Every character in the game is so well written, even if their entire job is to just be a silly side character. I don't really write reviews often, maybe one or two in the past several years. But this game deserved one, and I highly recommend giving it a shot.

A cross between Dispatch, Yes Your Grace, and the mobile game Reigns that is better than any of them. 10/10, will immediately be playing again. EDIT: Just a warning, there are some scenes/instances of eyestrain (flashing, bright colors, glitch effects).

Don't be fooled by a humble 'visual novel' tag - the game is much more than that, and what it stands for is extremely enjoyable. There are all kinds of ways you can approach your playthrough, and a feast of choices presented before you! Will you make your decisions based on mercy, rationality, or try and go for the ultimate people-pleaser approach? The writing is really charming, often tongue-in-cheek, but those moments never come off vulgar or hamfisted, rather, they help establish this whimsical low-fantasy atmosohere with ease. The visuals are stellar and really distinctive, it's a total feast for my eyes - every character is brimming with peronality, every detail counts. Gameplay revolves around managing your band - err, round table, of knights, all of whom have their own unique peronalities and uses. Some are great to send on diplomatic missions; some are itching for a noble tourney; some are just plain weirdos, albeit, charming ones! The game throws a plethora of quests and different outcomes at you, further encouraging your forays into multiple playthroughs... Or just by plainly rewinding time to try and salvage your shortcomings. Following in the footsteps of the studio's previous game, 'Crown Gambit', it's very nice to see the studio reinforcing replayability, hidden paths and choices legitimately mattering their games' core strengths. Very sweat-free, engaging and delightful experience. An absolute must-play if you're a great fan of grand armour designs (I remain your loyal customer) and decision-making (like choosing what to feed your loyal knights in shining armour with in order to raise their affection even if just a little).

I have never been hooked so completely and so quickly before when playing a game of this type. To be clear, saving and reloading is an completely vital part of the game and the game makes that clear. Knowledge from the future is directly related to events and if you have done something before, you gain dialouge to either speed up the process or gain access to new things. While at its core, it is a management simulator, the amount of things you can do is simply brilliant. If you were even mildly intrested in this game, buy it. it is incredible.
