This is a more simply laid out desert survival game, with elemental effects, you need to understand directions when traveling as there is no set in stone map, honestly fun & has a bit of lore. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44796497-NeLsInFiNiTy%2527s-Undead-Empire/

Okay, so this game is a really weird anomaly. This is one of those few examples where the low popularity is almost 100% on the devs. this game had the foundation to be an amazing survival game, that said the devs pretty much released the game and abandoned it. What they left behind is a skeleton for what could have been a 9/10 or 10/10 survival game but because they stopped updating its insanely barebones. The only way i can describe it is Subnautica but in a desert setting with a little bit of The Mummy and Dune sprinkled in, its actually really cool. you start out with nothing much like in subnautica and slowly upgrade to traverse deeper and deeper into the dunes. Like i said it was a amazing foundation but heres where the problems creep in... theres only 2 armors(not counting the beginning clothes you start with, only 2 enemy types Hyenas and the alien bugs and severe lack of unique weapons. the core crafting and exploring is really great and is the main reason to play it. Finding a ancient pyramid only to be stopped because you dont have the ingredients to craft the item needed to proceed so you come back like 5 hours later with the right gear to explore even further, almost like crafting skill checks. If you dont like sand then youll hate this game as there will be times where youre dying of heat stroke, dehydrated and hunger for long stretches of desert before stumbling upon ancient ruins or a oasis which i believe is by design, long stretches make those moments of finding something far more memorable. So in conclusion, if you like survival games and like the whole ancient egypt esque setting i do think its worth playing as it is fun, just be warned about the severe lack of content.

Nice Survival aspects with great game control and setup values. I my only gripe is the PRICE POINT, so if your like me you'll look for the SALE! It's okay. It feels very barebones and not very well thought out. A few things are disappointing: - I finally built a base (which is grindy AF) then realised there was almost no benefit compared to just leaving everything in the open like a hobo - There only seems to be one enemy - There is a lot of travelling around from A to B - Navigation is designed to be intentionally annoying to try and get you lost. - Saving the game requires a shelter so if you ever need to logoff at short notice for dinner or smth you can lose 1 hour+ of progress - Chests are tiny and contain only 6 slots. Make the endgame chests with uncommon resources and you get... 9 slots. All of this aside, it's a fun B tier survival game if you've already burned through the S and A tier games like Subnautica and Green Hell. I got bored before finishing it, but it was interesting and fun to explore around.

well, its very intense. the scolos are intimidating. but you can get handle on them with time and traps. probably the least liked open world craft from a chill standpoint but i was intriqued by the waya to solve the constant attacks. give yourself a break and put it on easy for a bit to get the feel for it then restart with mideum and face the aliens. they are nasty.
