Normally,I don't like puzzle-type games. But Strange Brigade really has a different experience. After playing this game,I started to love puzzles. The game is really funny and very beautiful. It is a better game, especially with friends and a full team of 4 people.I would definetely recommend the Extreme challenge, and those bulls that were constantly running at you had me throwing a tantrum.I would not recommend buying the game at its current price. But if it goes on sale,I suggest you buy the full version.Good games

I love this game, especially since I got it on what I assume was an accidental sale of $2. It's easily worth double that. In a world where every shooter is laden with gross zombies, it's refreshing to finally shoot some that are desiccated. Strange Brigade also takes on a golden-age-of-cinema storytelling theme with a bombastic narrator, black-and-white cut scenes, and colorful cast of adventurers plumbing ancient Egyptian themed catacombs in search of buried treasure. It's a refreshing setting to be sure, but what of the gameplay itself? It's a fairly standard 3rd-person shooter that seems designed for 4-player co-op but functions just as well as a botless single-player experience. You've got guns with different stats and hordes of enemies to mow down. There's right-click to aim down the sights, and linear level progression with somewhat straightforward "puzzles" and secret rooms to keep things from becoming too rote. The boss battles, although not revolutionary, are noteworthy and interesting. There's nothing to specifically dislike except for the auto-sprint function that can't be disabled or toggled. If not for the unique setting and framing device, it wouldn't offer anything new. However, it's a solid shooter that doesn't take itself too seriously, which, somehow despite the glut of games out there, is a novel enough reason to dump a few hours into it without regret.

A game that you don't hear much about but is really fun. A bit like Left For Dead and Nazi Zombie Army in 3rd person game play. A good coop game to play with friends. The graphics are nice and looting is addictive. lots of action and enemies to kill. Some really nice screenshot views of jungle landscapes and even the pyramids. It's got that classic Indiana Jones type vibe. Treasures, mysterious crypts and dungeons to explore and discover. Surprisingly nostalgic and an overall good time.

fun game, played solo and beat it easily. hoard mode is fun too. i'm not the biggest fan of puzzles, but only a few puzzles were required to advance. smooth game and good graphics. on sale, it's a good deal.

So glad I got this on Sale. When it popped up on my radar I wanted to make sure as many friends as possible could get it while the price was down. The game is graphically beautiful, the narrator is very entertaining and its a lot of fun to play with friends. The controls may feel slightly clunky at times but they are fully workable. If you get lost the answer to nearly every question in this is to "shoot first ask later" lol. Very much gives off The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vibes and loving it.
