The fun of a renovation game coupled with the aspects of running a business with employees and money management makes this game different than the others. This one has it all and you're not just running one business you're running many. The hustle of running multiple businesses adds to the game play keeping you on your toes every second you're open for business! Challenges you to make the most bang for your buck out of each of your designs with customer feedback sending you back to the drawing board the fun is endless! How much money can you get out of each venture?
Look, if you're expecting AAA gaming, you won't find it here. It's much of a muchness compared to other simulator style games - you clean up the motel, you decorate the place, you serve guests and earn points to progress to more rooms and other motel upgrades. However, I do agree with some other reviews: the reach a point where the main game progression ends and then, with no word from the guy who has been guiding you all game, the caravan section starts without prompt and with no further hints on which tools to use for which jobs etc. Further, the rest of the content just feels bolted on and rushed - the antique hunt mini-game is honestly one of the most boring and pointless fetch quest style systems I've ever had to suffer through (you can only collect two quests at a time as well, so you can't even just rush through it - they really drag it out by making you go back and forth to the dealer). All in all, it's worth the sale price I got it at - it kept me busy for a day. Still, I only finished the main game and have no desire to play any of the additional content. I doubt I'll ever come back to it.
As an extreme simulator player, I partially recommend this recommend if that makes sense lol the beginning of this game is very grindy but it becomes more manageable once you are able to hire employees. There is quite a gap in being responsible for laundry, cooking, cleaning and opening new rooms. I know it says you can shut down the hotel but I don't like that unless you are leaving to go on the tasks. Additionally, once you open the bar and gym, you are still responsible for serving drinks/bars even though you can hire employees to deliver them. You also can never hire employees for the trailer park locations (theater snacks/register desk). That's annoying... Overall, I'd recommend it but expect some grindy-ness
i am enjoying this game so far theres alot of things to do tha only thing i dont like in this game is when placing furnature/items it would be nice to haf a grid system to make it easier to line things up straight because how it is now, theres alot of bac and forth button pressing until the item wants to line up properly i play with a controller and this can be annoying at times apart from that really enjoyable game
