I came into this game expecting a short stat raiser (I didn't read anything lol, trying to surprise myself), and found myself playing every difficulties and endings. Honestly, I didn't expect to get this hooked. The story is simple, but that's the charm. You see characters interacting in a slice-of-life like genre, quickly drawing you into loving them. I didn't expect the whole Shen Tinglan story to get that dark . It makes me wonder how heavier it would feel if the game has less cheerful art style. The game is very, very long, so it took me days for my first playthrough. Late into the endgame, there's many empty days, so I wish there would be an instant jump feature to instantly skip to the next scenario for players who are already satisfied with their stats. Lastly, I really love the endings, both romantic and non romantic. If possible, would you consider adding a platonic brotherhood-like route for the male characters? It's especially interesting if we could delve deeper into Ye Luo's childhood and inner court, plus Zhe's past, and Huiguang as well as Huiguang didn't leave much impression due to the lack of screentime compared to other characters. At its heart, this is a visual novel with light action. There is good world building, you grow the main character (which is already set as a dude--but has stats and lore customization), and you go around the maps for missions. If you hate reading, this game is not for you. That being said, I found the story interesting and the music relaxing, although there isn't a lot of variety in the songs. There might be romance...but if there is it is definately not the focus of this game which is refreshing for a visual novel. Also it's not ecchi, which is also refreshing for a visual novel with a male lead. The story comes first in this game and the characters have fleshed-out personality and backgrounds. Once in a blue moon Chinese characters might pop up in the GUI, but they are not game breaking. I recommend this game for those who love the Wuxia genre and cultivation novels.

Finished the game! 7/10 imo Pro -The main story part is quite good and easy to understand - MC characteristic is quite good - Main 3 Heroine is cute and have some dimensions - Concept of game is interesting - Translation may not bt the best but playable compare to other chinese game - Dev still active in fixing things Con - Some playable character is very bland (esp. little monk dunno why the team out him in game?) - Too much time space for grind in late game which make late game too boring To sum up : I'm quite enjoy the game despite 69 percent postive review (Which quite too low in steam)

The english translation is on point and really good. The game is very much fun to play so you can blindly buy this game if u loved path of wuxia or wuxia type games. Will update this review once I complete the game. Update:Finished the game. The game is really good if you are into visual novels with in depth dialogues and story. This is really a fun game for its price point and fully worth it. Really good visual novel and NPCs you can be attached tooo Multiple Endings and Dialogues as well. Cant keep an harem sadly. In short-Path of Wuxia in a visual novel but very nicely polished and refined

Look, I'm not going to be blunt, this game isn't for everyone. It's primarily a visual novel/time management simulator, with some RPG elements. If you don't like reading, then you're not going to like this game, it's as simple as that. I do like reading however, so I'm having fun with it. Currently my main gripe however is that there are a lot of errors in the translation, and it definitely needs another clean up pass. There are several scenes where the script for the player name just breaks, a couple of quest items have different names then what's asked for, occasionally lines have left over chinese text, I've seen some consumables raise the wrong stat then what is said, and one of the bonding events was so bugged out that it kept repeating one line for a character over and over again. That being said, the developers do seem to be actively squashing them out so it's probably a matter of time. For now, I'm just going to wait until they're fixed.
