Completely ignoring how good this title is as a video game, I want to instead highlight the fact that it's the full addiction loop of TCGs for less than the price of McDonald's. Ever since buying this game I haven't bought a lootbox, spun for a character, or done anything even remotely resembling wasting / spending money. I did, however, spend almost 50 hours in 3 days opening boxes of cards, and you better believe I got a few nice foils in my display case. All of that aside, this is what we would have without the MTX / P2W market that's overtaken gaming. That dopamine buzzer used to be quite a bit cheaper.

Really enjoyed this game. Can't wait to see future updates. I think really there's only about 20 hours of gameplay that feels like you're progressing. Then once You have a fast counter clerk and restock clerk, it basically turns into a game where you're just opening card packs. Which is fun at first but then becomes a bit repetitive. Give us more to do in the end game, so it feels less like the whole game is automated. Things I'd like to see: -Random events like shop lifting, employees calling off work. (could add security camera upgrades, and theft prevention employees) -Add weather -Trading, have NPC's come in with their own cards you can buy or trade for. -Make it so the card game is actually playable, and you can compete with other NPC's for prizes. -Make a menu that makes it clear what cards I have and what I'm missing in my collection. Would love to see a 'X cards owned / Out of X cards total' label. -Instead of manually having to look at how much product you have, you should be able to just see a list of how much of each product that you have. Maybe even set it up where certain products are automatically reordered if they get below a certain threshold. -More statistics. I want to see my profit breakdown per item. I want to see my past 10 days item costs, item earnings, etc.

Who would've thought you could get the genuine loot box addiction itch from such a cheap and awesome little game? This time, no thousands of dollars lost. Thank you devs! Great game.

Thought it was going to be another one of those boring shop simulators with the same asset flipped models and animations. But while there's a lot of asset flips in this game, this game does what no other shop sim does... feed my card addiction.

I bought this game on a whim because of the reviews and I grew up playing MtG. This game is really fun. Like stupidly fun. Basic gameplay loop is very simple - order products from the supplier, stick them on the shelves, set pricing, and then man the till. Very simple and easy to follow. But then it adds in a few other mechanics: -Some customers come in stinky and you have to spray them with deodorant lol -You can expand the store/display shelves/etc -You can setup gaming tables for customers to play at and collect money passively from each table -You can hire staff to man the till and restock shelves -You can tear open card packs and sell the individual cards The graphics aren't the greatest but it's a very satisfying game to play and I highly recommend it. It's absolutely worth the money.
