The game is fun, but running out of things to do, would be cool to see some new sets of cards, a grading system, multiple store locations and some new features that the community comes up with but its a fun game.

Is this a 300hr game? It really shouldn't be, and I figure for some it's not even appealing in the first place. But I kept coming back to it, and you might too... I think the dev really hit on a good thing. A combination of middle-complexity shop management, manual FPS running-around jobs and busywork, and of course the gacha mechanic that is soooo addictive (to be clear you dont actually pay for anything extra in this game, it's the mechanic of opening cards packs and boxes that gets that gachamine flowing) So, a Poke-based card shop with really good ancillary mechanics and plenty of variation, a really well constructed progression curve and a really, really impressive "one more day" captivation. It really is addictive, I think because while being a lazy game it still gives a ton of different things to do and improve on, that makes you want to do and improve on. The game's still in early access but is already fully fledged to play and enjoy, and I feel the dev is committed to further improvements including player suggestions. So there's really not much not to like. And I want to praise the dev a little, it really is nicely polished and turned out in all areas, clearly they don't let broken things in and IMO there's a lot going on to keep working well - my kudos for that. So here's the big warning: if you don't like shop management games, or pokemons or never opened a packet of stickers or cards (sports ones will do), don't like dopamine, hate the idea of spraying stinky visitors to your shop with deodorant and then earning better ways to automate the stink out of these repulsive greebos, can't imagine getting fun from organising shelves then re-organising them, don't like comic books or plushies or DnD references, and only want to pew-pew, then please don't buy this excellent game.

Man, my wife loves this game! I've almost lost my evening game time but it's worth it to see her so happy! I'd let her play for hours as long as it makes her happy, and this game makes her happy!

This game has so much promise while still in early access. TCG Card Shop Sim scratches the itch inside my brain to rip open 1000 card packs at a time, but with the added benefit of not going broke or disappointing my family !! It follows many other simulator games that have come before it, with a very similar format and graphics, but also with a whole lot of added charm and incentive to play it for hours and hours. The collector bug in me wont stop until I have every card available. Achievements are a bit of a grind on this one, so if you're aiming to 100% it just know that you're in for quite a long ride, especially the collecting 2500 unique cards achievement and then the longggg grind for level 100 (I am 92 hours into the game and just shy of level 80). Dev works very hard to quickly push out bug fixes and add more content to the game. They are clearly quite in touch with their consumers, it seems every time I see a mention of a bug on the community page, its rectified in patch notes within a couple of days. This feels like a project filled with passion and that's the kind of thing I love to support. Overall HIGHLY recommend this to any TCG fans and Simulator game fans aswell. You're in for an addictive and rewarding experience if you download this game :))

Completely ignoring how good this title is as a video game, I want to instead highlight the fact that it's the full addiction loop of TCGs for less than the price of McDonald's. Ever since buying this game I haven't bought a lootbox, spun for a character, or done anything even remotely resembling wasting / spending money. I did, however, spend almost 50 hours in 3 days opening boxes of cards, and you better believe I got a few nice foils in my display case. All of that aside, this is what we would have without the MTX / P2W market that's overtaken gaming. That dopamine buzzer used to be quite a bit cheaper.
