This great little synergy-focused game has you gradually build a party and equip characters with items that complement each other. Battles are mostly automatic, but require sporadic tactical movement and ability use to secure victory. Great for playing while listening to podcasts.

Surprised how little attention this game has gotten. Feels like a lot of love was put into it, good amount of updates and rebalance over the years, new daily challenges with strange modifiers, and new tower endless mode. An excellent mix of turn-based, position-based, small-numbers, RPG-elements (classes, inventory management lol) roguelite. Very fun to learn, good difficulty curve. Similar to the other greats such as Cobalt Core, Shogun Showdown, Into the Breach.

This game is amazing, it's been constantly seeing new and incredible updates for the five years I've had it. I only wish there was a dev donation page I could give to.

So a quick run roguelite battler wherein you optimize an Ogre Battle squad using Magic the Gathering-like synergies and progress through a bunch of interesting unlockables? A thousand times, yes. It's simple, but it has a whole lot of replayability. I got a lot more playtime out of this than I expected at first.

I've enjoyed this game. Typical deckbuilder rogue-like but you manage a party and the cards are more or less tiles in the form of characters and items. This one is difficult imho. Haven't gotten to consistent skill yet.
