A fun RTS TD game. I've glanced through a lot of negative reviews and most of the points they brought up have since been fixed. They added mid-run saving, (limited) rerolls for buildings and artifacts, options to banish certain rewards from being offered, they rebalanced some of the units & advisors etc.

This game is not easy. This game is not for people looking to chill while watching a show or to relax. Its frustrating. It will make you mad. I have put almost 25 hours in and am still no better then when I started it. Once you invest so much time into it, you feel you must keep doing it to try and show it who is boss. It is...it is the boss. You will die a lot. That being said, it is a fun game and well made. I play a round or 2 a day as each round takes about an hour. Its fun leveling up and getting stuff unlocked, but so far nothing has helped me get much better. lol. Great game to waste some hours on. If you don't mind losing 90% of the time, check it out.

A rather simple, yet immensely satisfying and super fun game. First of all, I really appreciate the somewhat obscured timer limit challenges in game as they force you to adapt rather than overcome with grind, in turn avoiding stretching out gaming sessions into a situation that ultimately feels like wasted time. In terms of gameplay there's also a great deal of RNG involved, on top of all the gimmicks, and to me, nothing really spices up even the most basic of premises the same way RNG does (man am I glad I never got into gambling/gacha game territory thanks to me being a perma-broke/stingy bum lol). Every gaming session is a gamble that doesn't guarantee a win, but to me, also never feels like time wasted. There's a bit of planning, a bit of adapting, a bit of timing an a bit of a gamble that makes for a delightful and thrilling combination. To top it off, there are also various amusing in-game event going on, and quite charming 'grungy' pixel visuals that are nonetheles clearly distinctive, and convey all the info you really need (I could personally go with less meme content, but that's probably cos I'm old and grumpy, so I assume younger audiences probably appreciate such things more). A variety of challenges and unlockables offer a great degree of replayability in turn, so I think this little game really does pack quite a punch.

Easy to learn but tough to master management game. Lots of fun and replayability. Could use more maps though - 2 are not enough
