If gameplay is paramount to you in a fighting game, then buy this. It is by far the best modern day fighting game, imo. Also if you want to improve your overall fighting game skills, this is the game you want to do that with. This has actually become my all time favourite fighting game, but that's just personal preference. There are many worthy contenders for that title. This is the game I keep coming back to time and again though. Can't get enough of it.

Accidentally Discovered KoF XV… Accidentally Got Shadowbanned… Accidentally Fell in Love (Kind of) Found this game by accident while looking for something to cool off from Street Fighter 6 — and damn, this game is awesome. Let’s start with the good stuff: Combat system and visuals? Super fun. It feels kind of like SF4 in terms of movement, graphics, and animations — and I love that. Combos? Delicious. This isn’t your button mash baby’s first fighter — combos matter. You can’t just down-forward punch your way to victory. Here you gotta lab... and then cry when someone lands a 27-hit max-mode TOD combo on your face before you even blink. Peak fighting game energy. Music? It’s fine. Not amazing, but it fits the vibe. Ranked? Not bad at all. Definitely better than in MK (even the latest one). And unlike Tekken 8 or SF6, your rank isn’t tied to each character. Bless SNK for knowing I’m a character-slut and don’t want to grind Rookie to Gold seventeen times) But now the bad part... oh no. This game’s biggest weakness isn’t the balance, or the graphics, or even the lobby UI that feels like a Windows XP skin mod. It’s... people. Or lack of them. That’s not really the devs’ fault — KoF just isn’t as well-known as SF or Tekken in some regions. But seriously, the game is cheap, and if you want a fun anime-style fighter to beat some asses online without spending much — this is a great pick. But… low player count (even with crossplay on) leads to the worst feature ever: Fair Play Score. I spent 2 days learning the mechanics, then tried a few ranked matches. I got matched with some no-lifer sweatlord combo demon. He beat me twice — quick, brutal. I reload ranked… same guy again. Another 2 quick losses. On the third time? I ragequit. I’m not proud. I saw my reflection in the black screen and questioned my life choices. But guess what? Game didn’t even warn me. No “leaving will affect your honor,” no “beware, young warrior,” nothing. Next day? Fair Play Score in the gutter. I got shadowbanned. Now I only find matches with other ragequitters and players who, judging by their internet connection and ping, are fighting from Mars. Matchmaking time jumped from 1–3 minutes to 10–15. It's awful. It’s like I got thrown into Fight Club’s basement division. Everyone's angry, unhinged, and trying to flex max-mode combos while their WiFi runs on potatoes. Support says my Fair Play Score will "go up with time and good behavior." I say: we’ll see. If I’m still shadowbanned in 2 months, I’m changing this review to a negative and in all caps. Final verdict: Game’s awesome. Fighting feels tight, fast, combos are rewarding, and it’s honestly a steal price-wise. But if you ragequit once, you get thrown into matchmaking hell with all the other digital delinquents. Still worth it. Final Score: A great online fighting. I give it 7 fair-play shadowbans out of 10))) P.S. Please buy the game and play it to increase the total players. I’m tired of fighting the same guy named “TeenyWeenieWarrior420” every night.

Ive following kof for 3 months and i have to say this is one of the best game ive ever played maybe it's because im new but i would recommend it
