It's been a few years since I played the game, but I managed to put in 146 hours of play time before something else caught my attention. I recall a few bugs from the last time I played, but the latest player reviews make it sound as though there are possibly even more now. I always enjoyed the game and almost always managed to find a work-around to any bugs I discovered. None of the bugs were ever game-breaking. I've noticed there has not been an update to the game in almost 13 months. The Developer's are in Ukraine/Ukrainian, and if you read their June or July 2023 game development post you'll read that the war in Ukraine has negatively impacted the games development. The Dev writing the post sounds incredibly passionate about the game and his desire to both fix bugs and continue to further develop the game. Hopefully he and the development team are okay, as 13 months with no update definitely gives the appearance the game has been abandoned for one reason or another. I'm giving the game a thumbs up simply because I've been playing it off and on for quite a few years - essentially since it hit Steam Early Access, and I was able to watch as regular updates and improvements were made to the game. As I said above, I always enjoyed it. If you're the praying type, pray for the safety of the Development Team, as well as for Russia to end their war in Ukraine and pull out. There has been enough death and devastation.

Where to start. Game looked cool but man does it have so many AI bugs. Stuff that makes no sense. people get stuck outside gates when they could just walk around it. inside an out. the builders die fast because they are too dull to understand not to walk up next to the bad guys with guns. they run an do what they want to do. no tab to see what jobs are with who and wtf they are doing. should be free till they get the stuff fixed. Some devs today just dont care. They put something out to make a fast buck and forget it. The dismantling feature is so broken. if i place something that's not built yet i shouldn't have to have them dismantle it and waste more time if i decide to move it before its built. little things add up fast. so many times over and over im trying to place something and a quick action event pulls me over just to tell me some lame stuff like oh a body is here. yeah i know i can see it on the map. witch brings me to another issue is the graveyard people do not seem to wanna do the job they are given. A body might get picked up every 30 days or so. i have graveyards spread around and still lazy asf they are. Lets see the cannibalism part of this game is not working right and the achievement is unattainable. I have few more kills to go at this time in the review and im gonna have them all but the one they wont fix. i hear they gave up on this game. sad it was gonna be good. i got the game on sale ill prob keep it but after i get the trophies ill never touch it again. Recommend it onsale 5$ only

Looked for a base building apocalypse game on my birthday and this popped up same day and saw interest and my buddy had it, so I played the game on my buddy's account for roughly 4-5 hours or so and this is what I came to. Desc: Indie. City/Base builder with a pause-like system for those who want to micromanage more tasks. Zombie/Apocalypse Survival. Plenty of involvement with the Hands-on point and click combat and resource gathering outside of base. Automated resource gathering in base area especially with the gathering huts. Research prioritization making every choice vital in what you want or need to pursue base on environment. Territorial expansion on decent sized maps. Military organization and weapon smithing for each unit. Item manufacturing is involved to its individual item. Expeditions parties and raiding. High difficulty. Single player only, hope to see a co-op sometime if possible. THE GOOD: * Pretty graphics and 360d camera. * Soldiers can be given set stacked sets of behavior type orders when dealing with threats, acquire XP based on combat, can be outfitted with a variety of gear. * Building auto-disassemble when all resources are gone from its area, as to not take up space * Multi language based game * Stable platform THE BAD: - Fiddly combat. Actions vague. - No overall management/resource balance sheet (i may have missed it or just plain overlooked it) - Employed pop. are auto-tasked rather than unemployed ones, which means you may not be aware of where all your workers are unless you hover over each structure - Bug: weapons are shown as different variants when given to soldiers - Possible to stall any progress by not building required buildings essentially entering a softlock. - Early visits by merchants are not really practical considering most if not all players are too focused on resource gathering or scouting - Easy to make mistakes and rely on time traveling back on your older saves

This is just from my experience and I don't speak on behalf of anyone else. Pros: + Very cute looking little game. + Nice color pallet and graphic style. + Simple UI Cons: - Map design is confusing and a little overwhelming to look at.. - Building placement is a bit iffy because the layout of the map is not friendly with space. - Game runs your CPU at 60% and your GPU at 100% (I have 1080ti and an i7-7700k). Did not find anything majorly wrong in the 45mins that I played it. It's pretty simplistic and what you would expect. Just needs some optimization to bring down that usage. Gave it a thumbs up because these indie devs are doing a great job and they have something going here. Cheers.
