It's a pretty good game. The only downside is that you can't use rebels as fuel for the generator.

For me, it’s a zen garden made of steel and steam. While my actual life is a chaotic open world with no tutorial, Frostpunk lets me build a perfect circle of logic in a frozen wasteland. Is it a bit 'of the "tism'' in me to find peace in micromanaging heat maps and ration distributions while the temperature drops to -120°C? Maybe. For me, this isn't a game about suffering; it’s a game about order. In a world that feels like an unpredictable mess, Frostpunk is the one place where I can work out every problem and know exactly what’s coming. I’m the Captain, and my spreadsheets are the only thing keeping us from becoming popsicles.

I played it once just to figure out how to not freeze everyone to death, and then I spent the rest of my time grinding for every single achievement like a madman. It’s brutal, cold, and stressful, but there’s nothing like the "fun" of managing a coal crisis at 3 AM. If you want to enjoy a game at night with a your fav beer, it's the one.

I play games to relax and explore. Every moment of Frostpunk is panic, fear, and desperation. This is one of those games that will stick to your memory for years. A great escape from the real world issues, solving a fake worlds issues. I allowed in waves and waves of refugees in order to protect them from an incoming winter storm. We quickly ran out of food and coal to heat all of the homes. Many starved, many froze. I was banished for my compassion. I won't make the same mistake twice.
