One of the best games in the series easily. That ending got me by the balls and I can't wait to see what is going to happen in Kai 2 when it one day just releases... Pls Falcom we need the sequel now!!

The best game in the entire Trails series so far. Not only does it have the best gameplay of the entire series combat wise. It crafts probably the most intriguing tale the franchise has done so far. I spent the last 5 hours with my mouth gapped open in shock from the major reveals. The west is not ready for this game next January it’s going to rock the world 5/5 10/10 Peak Fiction, Kondo I Kneel

Kai no Kiseki Review (Might Contain Minor Spoilers) So uhh... how do I even start? I spent around 78 hours playing Kai no Kiseki, and honestly, I really enjoyed it. It's easily the most fun I've had with a Kiseki game since Sora no Kiseki First Chapter. There’s so much I want to talk about, but let’s start with the basics. As usual, the Marchen Garden system really helps a lot with leveling up your characters, farming quartz, and preparing for the main story. I really hope they keep this system in future installments — it just gives you a good breathing space before jumping back into the main story. The battle commands and field battle system are mostly the same as Kuro no Kiseki II, but they made it more balanced this time. Everyone now deals about the same damage, except for Shizuna, Rean, and Van. They have body enhancement transformations that let them deal big damage even without deploying a shard. Honestly, that's a really good improvement. Now, about the story... I'll admit, it got a bit confusing for me in the middle. But once everything started getting revealed near the end, it just smacked me right in the face. For anyone who feels lost mid-game: keep going — it’s worth it. All the interactions and little hints from Cold Steel, Kuro 1, and Kuro 2 finally lead to answers in Kai no Kiseki. For the first time since Cold Steel IV, a Kiseki story actually hurt me emotionally. Seeing Agnes carrying all that burden alone just broke me. And we’re left hanging with a big cliffhanger too — not gonna lie, I'm still not sure exactly what's going to happen. Plus, Kincaid, man... so many plot twists around this guy! Overall, the story of Kai no Kiseki is absolutely mind-blowing, especially the ending. It left me sitting there like, "Huh? That’s it?? No way! Give me more!" It gave me flashbacks to the ending of Cold Steel III — you know, when Rean got captured while in ogre form. Also, quick note: Oh by the way, I played this using an English patch. The patch is good enough to play and finish the game to the end. It's been improved a lot by anon after the MTL version — now it's properly translated and honestly really good. I really, really enjoyed Kai no Kiseki. And if you’re a Kiseki fan, you need to experience this. After going through it, I can confidently say you must play the whole Kiseki series to truly understand what’s happening — all the way from the Orbal Revolution that started back in Sora no Kiseki. I know it takes a lot of time to play all the games, but if you don't have the time, at least watch walkthroughs or story summaries on YouTube. It'll help you understand the full picture — like what’s really going on in Zemuria and what caused all this in the first place. I know I'm yapping a lot, but I just love Kai no Kiseki so much. I feel bad keeping all this excitement to myself, so I had to express it. This is honestly one of the best and biggest stories Nihon Falcom has ever made. Also, if you're currently playing, make sure to collect all the Memento Orbs and watch the past memories — it’s 100% worth it. As for me, I'm about to jump into my second playthrough on Nightmare difficulty, taking my time and enjoying it all over again.
