2500 hours... I have played this game 2,499.6 hours in the past 5 years. It is well worth the price! Great solo, and even better with a co-op partner.

Great game, shame that support was dropped. Have over 100 hours on the xbox version. I'd love to see more encounters/campaigns etc.

I played this solo and enjoyed it even more co-op with a friend. It approximates battles in the Lord of the Rings saga through deckbuilding. After 12.5 hours, it did become repetitive, however I'm glad to have played it until then.

6.5/10 Coop, 5.5/10 Solo Seems like just a mediocre card game at first, but it does become a little more interesting as you go. It's really rare to find coop card games with a campaign mode, so it gets the score bumped up a bit. Pros: - Filled with LotR/Hobbit references, from the books not the films - It's great having 3 heroes to work with, and even better with a coop partner for 6 - Actually has a coop campaign at all - Starting difficulty level feels correct for coop Mehs: - It's fun to make decks, except for all the hero requirements on cards. Becomes rather frustrating being unable to add cards because you don't have the right hero combo... but changing heroes completely undoes your entire deck. Ugh - Gandalf isn't a hero! He's just a regular unit. Rather disappointing, but at least he's there - Your hero selection limits your strategy too much. You're forced to use too many cards that do similar things, though I suppose it does give decks a certain "flavor" and strategy that is in alignment with the heroes Cons: - Card text is hard to read. Much is italic *and* thin text on gold. Who thought this was a good idea? There's also no way to adjust this in the settings - Coop games will drop coop partner after quests and often require several tries to invite them in the first place. Just unnecessarily frustrating - You can't do the tutorial with a coop partner - Most of the game consists of trading hits with the same units repeatedly - Sauron repeatedly cancels and negates cards you play (unless you have and preemptively play specific cards to prevent that). There's never any reprieve. Every mission is the same: rush the objective ignoring almost everything else or Sauron wins... some more variety would be welcome
