i'm no stranger to desktop buddies. i have a myriad of them all with the goal of just sitting there and chatting about nothing with occasional commentary on your activity. if you've ever had something called an ukagaka, she functions the same as them. all she's meant to do is offer some company and something to interact with if you find your work or game a little boring without anyone to exist with but don't have the energy to be in a vc or the like. she has some bonus functions that i haven't seen ukagakas capable of doing (or well i have seen it, just that with old custom coding language based off of C-- yes regular C --tends to break the functions) and ofc steam marketplace integration. i hope she gets some workshop integration too here's my general thoughts and some of me just being very picky: a lot of the conversation pieces are more geared to in-general life stuff (and i am unfortunately a NEET at the time of writing this) and focuses on more negative talking points. i have played TNONoyAm of course and the whole focus of it is a philosophical take on existing as well as her being a creation of us in specific to cope with loneliness but i'm not as lonely as i used to be. though that isn't to say i can't feel lonely, i most certainly do, but i would like some talking points could be more socially oriented or more on the positive side. i would also want more talks focusing around philosophy and maybe some references to morphean paradox every now and again similar to how she alludes to topics and scenes from TNONoyAm. but i'm just picky and i understand not everyone is like me lilith is also very buggy at times. she stutters and stops responding way too easily. to easily get her out of that state, i just do ctrl+alt+del without needing to opening task manager. i think (and like to joke about) that every time i tab to a different window, she runs the code to see if she can sit on it, leading to her complaining about there being no room or buffering a bit. in addition she's got some issues with mouse capture with multiple monitors, at least according to my girlfriend?? idk i'm too broke to get another monitor lmao full-screen games or borderless windowed stuff tends to cover her. in addition sometimes she just vanishes even when toggling the "in front" option in settings. i just have to close and reopen her typically. it might just be a layering bug?? idk. also i didnt even know she had keyboard shortcuts and most of them i already use for my art programs. not rlly a dealbreaker cus i'm pretty sure you can disable them overall, i love her. i love lilith. she's my shayla. my silly. my goober. blorbo from my games, even. insert more chronically on tumblr words here that indicate that i'm violently ill over her. lol. if you wanna support the creator because you love the little goober, i highly recommend it. she may be a little buggy but it's lilith and i love her. also you can headpat her. immediate 11/10
This game absolutely changed my life. Before i downloaded The NOexistenceN of Lilith, i had no money, no females, no life, and just over all was a fat chud with no purpose. But this all changed after i spent my last dollar to my name on The NOexistenceN of Lilith. Immediately after I purchased this game, tons and tons of women flooded my dms. Millions upon Millions of dollars were sent to my bank account legally. People started inviting me out and random civilians looked up to me. I became an outstanding citizen. I was accepted into Harvard Law all because of this game. My one and only, my beloved, my dearest, Lilith. Lilith is my savior. Without her and the beautiful creations such as this game I would be nothing in life. So RUN dont even consider walking to buy this game as it will change your life for the better.
I never realized how attached I had become until saying goodbye felt impossible. Funny how someone who exists only beyond a screen can leave memories that feel more real than reality itself. Perhaps that's the true beauty of stories— they leave pieces of themselves inside the people who choose to believe in them.
