The Spiral Scouts is definitely its own thing – a quirky puzzle adventure. The puzzles are genuinely clever – some well-designed head-scratchers that feel good to solve. The art style has a certainly charming, hand-crafted feel. The music fits the weird vibe well enough. And then there's the Outstanding Artistic Writing and Exceptional Narrative Design By which I mean: it's not just bad , it's a relentless firehose of juvenile vulgarity and pure cringe. Think middle school locker room "jokes" written by someone trying way too hard to be edgy. Every other line feels designed purely to shock with how pointlessly trashy it is. It's... aggressively terrible. And yet... it's kind of brilliant? Alright, the developers clearly meant for it to be this relentlessly foul. Which is certainly a bold choice to commit to, you have to give them that. Come for the truly excellent game hiding underneath, the core puzzle-solving and exploration are solid. Stay, morbidly fascinated, by the most uniquely terrible, vulgar writing you'll encounter. It’s an experience, alright. Requires high tolerance for cringe. You've been warned. ( Seriously, great puzzles tho. )

enormously fun gameplay, incredible premise, very nice art style, *horrendous* writing. i wish i could give it a thumbs sideways- as is, i suppose i recommend it if youre looking for fun/satisfying gameplay, are good at skim reading cringy text and its on a major discount

Fun game, but don't be fooled by the cutesy exterior. This is a puzzle game and some of the puzzles are pretty dang difficult with some obscure solutions. The humour is... well, to call it crass would be putting it nicely. Most of the writing was honestly pretty bad in my opinion. But I enjoyed it for what it is
