This was a very interesting and enjoyable few hours (about 5 hours) that was well worth the purchase. It was very polished for release day and definitely well made. I really enjoyed organizing the exhibits and sorting the artifacts. Now for the not-so-good: my Japan key disappeared, and I had to summon it back in. Fortunately, I was able to do so. Otherwise, the game is very polished, and I didn’t run into any other issues. The map is a little simple; adding some rugs and a central exhibit for the lobby would help a lot. The creativity put into the artifacts, though, has my full respect. Overall, a great game.
95minutes in - I love it. Playing it with the SteamDeck and it is really nice. The graphics are great, the idea to re-assemble dinosaur sceletons?! Genius! Only thing that is not soooo good: The mouse control is a bit clunky sometimes. But nothing that severe, that it dimnishes my fun. 😀
I've played a lot of tidy up games ever since the itch was scratched with Librarian; I enjoyed this one. I did use my keyboard and mouse instead of the controller and thought it was just fine. I think it definitely could have had MORE stuff to label or to put away but I enjoyed the change the history aspect of this one. I would play this again. Hoping for an update or more like this
It took me a moment to figure out what I was doing, but once I got the hang of it I had fun. I liked the general cleaning tasks and sorting out the artefacts and fossils, but it did feel like some collections were more thought out compared to others. I do wish there were accessibility options- such as being able to turn off the bobbing motion when moving, and allowing the highlighting colours to be changed. I managed without but it did take me longer than I would have liked due to having to ask another person what was highlighted (colourblind). Overall, I played the game, finished it, and had a nice evening doing so. I'd give it a decent 6/10 rating and I look forward to seeing what changes come next!
