So, I’ve read most if not all previous reviews for this game (granted there were only 38). There are some complaints I actually agree with, some of my own, and some were probably fixed already because I haven’t noticed anything they were talking about. First of all, and that’s vital for me, the game does not allow the player to rebind controls. I will not be able to comfortably play unless controls are made rebindable. Second, this game desperately needs DLSS/DLAA. Native TAA is jittery and even though it doesn’t ruin the experience, it certainly looks bad. The graphics are okay I guess, but for this level of visual fidelity the game certainly gobbles up quite a lot of performance. Although, and that’s important to notice, it seems to easily run at 90FPS (limited) without fully loading the GPU. So the low performance even on the top-grade hardware earlier reviewers were complaining about has been partially solved (granted, a 3090Ti is still a beefy card, but I’m also running maximum graphics settings at 3840x2160). I assume the game uses Urinal Engine 5, from how it visually looks (if it’s UE4 it’s definitely bottom of the barrel optimization still). Main menu runs at 37FPS for some reason – perhaps the devs had the attitude of the game’s protagonist after a few beers when compiling it. Some sounds seem a bit quiet (footsteps) at 100%. I haven’t looked into the game configuration files, as I only launched it for a brief test, but would love if the developer leaves them editable for people like me to fiddle with the settings. Overall, the game has serious potential, but needs loads of work from developers, just like No Man’s Sky or Cyberpunk did at launch. UPD-1: So after further elaboration, it seems the game is made in Unity engine, which is shocking - shocking how horrendously bad it is optimized! I had a firm impression it was UE5, perhaps a badly optimized UE4, but Unity at this image quality must run at DLDSR 5760x3240 120FPS. Meanwhile it generally sits at a little bit over 100 FPS (if unlimited; I typically limit my framerate to whatever stable number it can provide) with a meager 4K output. Not even that, sometimes inside interiors it drops to 60-ish! This is unacceptable levels of optimization even for a single-developer indie project. There is nothing at any point to justify this, even though the game generally looks fine, it's not a graphical revelation by any means. What's funnier is that outside open areas have higher performance compared to house interiors, which is completely illogical (unless it switches raytracing renderer on when loading an interior, for some reason). Oh, and the loading times are atrocious.

I've bought the game couple of minutes after the release and intantly faced some bugs. Luckily developers are very active and posted solutions on their discord in 30 minutes. I played for 3 hours and game is much more entertaining than I expected based on experience in the beta testing. Storyline is absurd and hilariaus. My tip is to choose Polish for the dialogues with English subtitles, as English dub gives very different vibes.

An amazing game. The slavic eastern-european MY NATIVE vibe is fantastic - I really love everything about it. Doing repairs is very relaxing. There’s no lag at all. Sometimes there are bugs involving items, but they don’t really hurt the game... if anything, they just make it even more fun. The game is definitely worth the money. DZIĘKUJĘ!

If you're having problems with the game, uninstall the Demo or the Playtest version. For me, the game looks gorgeous and is better optimized than the Demo. A huge PLUS for House Flipper fans compared to what was in the Demo: - If we do shoddy work, throw things away, leave a mess, the apartment owner will charge us a penalty for it - It's worth doing good work while, of course, saving on materials - Items thrown out the window can be found at the entrance to the building For now, I'm thrilled, I haven't encountered any bugs or errors, and I'm including my specs Before leaving a negative review, wait for some fix, because a few developers made the game, it's not some big corporation, so it's worth supporting such teams

Day 1 Review: The game isn’t bad. The story is funny and interesting so far. The only real problem is the optimization. The frame drops when entering buildings are pretty bad, and the GPU usage stays around 100% all the time, which seems excessive for a game that isn’t particularly graphically demanding.
