Incredible variety of Towers, enemies and map for such a low-key game. There's multiple decks, each with its own playstyle. You got ascension. Very addictive. Music's a bop too. If you have any inclination for Tower Defense and you've already played the classics of Bloons and such. Hit this one up, well worth the full price.

Fun little Tower Defense with card mechanics. Different decks require different strategies. Runs are relatively quick, with three maps you move through, facing a Boss on the final node in each (don't skip Elite battles). I come back to this game often when I'm in the mood for a quick, fun, strategic TD. (My hours played reflect that.)

I've been playing these silly TD games since UMS maps in Brood War and WC3. This game is consistently one I come back to to scratch that itch. The different decks each feel distinct and progression within the decks is slow with marginal impact so the fact that the game is balanced quite well makes for fun meta-progression that places more emphasis on the run to run rogue side of things while still feeling like you come away with something in the end.

The game can feel slow in the beginning, but it's too good to ignore. It wraps a Tower Defense into the Slay the Spire formula exceptionally thoughtfully. If you enjoy deckbuilding and TD games, you'll enjoy figuring out all the unique synergies and builds the game has to offer. If you're not feeling it with the starter decks, try at least sticking out until you unlock Everchanging (I think Level 10?). It's a deck that begins with random cards every playthrough. It will allow you to start experimenting with rare and interesting to you towers immediately — just keep restarting until you generate a list that seems fun. Everchanging was my first Ascension 10, and while I was busy with it, my attempts earned me enough XP in the background for most other decks and challenges to become unlocked. Offerings always disenchant for full value so you can re-craft whatever you want any time, and higher Ascensions can be unlocked for practically free (25 dust), which are both amazing QoL features that make switching decks and attempting different achievements extremely streamlined. There's a *lot* of interesting and challenging content hidden behind a bit of progression here. Great UI, graphics, animations, and a super low price make Tower Tactics: Liberation and its DLC a very easy recommendation.
