Trine 2 is a fantastic follow-up that offers more challenge and content than the original Trine. The gameplay feels more demanding, which adds to the overall excitement and replayability. The graphics still look impressive even 13 - 14 years after its initial release, showcasing beautiful, vibrant visuals that hold up well over time. While it's not quite as good as Trine 1—mainly because some features like wearable items were removed—it still remains a solid game. Overall, I’d give Trine 2 an 8/10. It's definitely a worthwhile experience for fans of puzzle-platformers and action-adventure games. It’s a highly enjoyable game that’s well worth playing.

A Thief, a Wizard and a Knight Walk into Another Bar... Trine 2 sticks pretty close to the formula that made the first game great. The graphics received a nice upgrade, the gameplay feels familiar, and the balance of action, platforming, and puzzles is just as enjoyable. Even though this one is considered easier than the original, I just couldn't bring myself to replay it for 100% achievements like I did with the first game. I definitely recommend giving both Trine and Trine 2 a playthrough. 8/10 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45905648-Gork%2527s-Game-Grind/]Check out my curated list of games

A pretty good sequel to the first game, the levels are good and interesting. There are now cutscenes with a storyline, which is also a plus. I'd also like to point out that this series is best played with three players rather than solo or duo players. There were a few bugs that prevented the host from continuing the game after checking the artifact collection status, and unfortunately, when we started our second playthrough, our saves were lost, and levels weren't always counted as completed on the hardest difficulty... Trine 2 is pure cozy magic. It feels like jumping straight into a fairy tale whenever you want to escape real life for a bit. I played it more than 10 years ago and I still remember the story and all those colorful, charming moments. You can enjoy it solo, but it’s even better with friends or family – perfect for beginners and even for kids. The game is simple at its core, but sometimes it makes you stop and think, and hunting for all the achievements can get surprisingly intense. If you want to save a kingdom from goblins and other evil creatures while having a relaxed, magical time – I totally recommend Trine 2: Complete Story.
