I previously marked this game as "not recommended" because I thought I was soft-locked. I re-purchased the game because I really enjoyed the gameplay outside of getting stuck. After playing some more, I realized a couple things 1) you CAN go into debt, the game doesn't prevent you from spending additional money to meet your daily goals 2) a LOT of the things in this game are labeled in a confusing way. It would be very helpful if the items in the shop were named the same thing as they are named in the daily task. Shrimp Tempura being called Jumbo Shrimp in the shop is a little confusing. The locks on the items you have to unlock don't stand out and make it easy to miss them. It would also help if the task told you where to find the items (ex: "Unlock Jumbo Shrimp (Black Market)). I had to search through the discussions to figure out what several of the items were to progress. Additionally, when you need to get rid of something, you can feed it to the cat to "trash" it. But the prompt says "drag to trash." it should say "drag to cat" or something. Just some thoughts to improve the player experience. This game is really enjoyable. The sounds are satisfying and the graphics are pretty. Easy to lock in and vibe for hours.
I really enjoy this game, I've always been a fan of simpler restaurant management game like this one and it really hit the spot for me. The only issue I had is that I found scaling fish every time I caught one to be quite repetitive and boring after a while to the point where I would just skip fishing all-together and just restocked them at the market. The fishing mini-game is fine in my opinion but either improving the scaling of fish, making it different from fish to fish or just simply giving us the option to skip the scaling would be good. Other than that I also had issues with the grill button being too small so grilling unagi wasn't quite as smooth as I would've liked. Overall I'm still having fun with the game so I would 100% recommend it. Edit: I just completed the game and unlocked all the recipes only to find out I can gift customers chopsticks and I vaguely remember the game mentioning it towards the beginning of the game but I didn't know how so I brushed it off and I later completely forgot about it 😭
Slightly addicted to this cosy game. However, it really annoys me that I've maxed out ingredient storage and many customers are asking for dragon dishes, with only max 9 roe, there is no way to fulfil them all, sitting and waiting for the customer's order bar to go red and for them to leave it not great at all. This should be given some attention, increase the max storage for these items.
needs more upgrades, storage/Conveyor. i haven't finished it yet but i think there should be an endless mode or a gold rush mode where you make the most amount of money in a given time or something. Crab Gunkan and truffle crab gunkan have the EXACT same sprite pls fix. but overall really chill game
This was SUCH a cute and cozy game BUT I have a few gripes about the game that I want to share in case any of these things may bother other gamers, too. (1) I found it moved too slow at times... I get that the point is low stakes and cozy, but I would have appreciated a few more guests to serve as that would have made some of the upgrades mean more (i.e. the 3x sushi button...) (2) THE FISHING PROCESSING. I don't think I need to say anything more for people who've played it but this may be the worst part of the game. SO time consuming and repetitive and not enjoyable. First few times, cool, then afterward I stopped fishing altogether and relied on the nets and cash. (3) There are some instances where the buttons aren't as responsive as they should be - i.e. flipping through the recipe book. I had to click SO many times. Same with dragging the wasabi to customers - it glitches between the hand and the other cursor. I don't say any of the above to suggest it's not a great game - it is - I rolled credits and 100%'ed the achievement list... it's just that with a few little modifications, the game would be SO much more enjoyable overall.
