I'm very new to Visual Novels but recently I have been trying to get back into reading fiction books so felt it was time to start trying this genre. Overall I think the game was pretty decent with nice visuals and a catchy soundtrack. The Main Character was likable enough but Yella the vampire was the star of the game. I loved how moody and angry she seems at times but as the game goes on you start to see a more calm and caring side to her. It made me very interested to see what kind of chaos she was going to cause next. Some parts of the story did drag quite a lot but it had some very funny and memorable moments like the Bloodbank and the Amusement Park which were very entertaining. I'm looking forward to trying the 2nd game at some point mostly to see Yella causing more chaos.
Great Story and Memorable Characters One of the things I love most about this game is its story and characters. The story is engaging and keeps me interested from beginning to end, while each character has their own personality, background, and development. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing how their relationships and stories developed throughout the game. The characters feel memorable rather than just being there for the gameplay. If you enjoy games with a good story, interesting characters, and a world that makes you want to keep playing, I highly recommend giving this game a try.
The game is very high quality, especially for it's price. Played it because I was bored and forgot I had it, and I was able to get 5 hours of playtime trying to get through all of the routes. Not the greatest story but it felt pretty realistic despite being about vampires, also appreciated that there was some, bare bones but present anti war messaging and commentary about discrimination against immigrants. Additionally, I found myself being pleasantly surprised by the movement of Yella's model to match the action in the scene. It's nothing Oscar award winning but it was nice to see her actually looking up at the sky, or looking out an airplane window.
