Enjoyed playing it, despite it's drawbacks. The actual battle play is simplified but fine. Note that I have only played the Atlantic campaign. Some of the base placement was puzzling though. There is no land based aircraft interaction and no way to improve your bases or economy apart from sinking enemy ships.

IF you are thinking about purchasing this for $5 on steam sale - do it. It's fun, arcade like approach to naval combat. Do not expect depth of realism. I have put about 700 hours into the game. It's worthwhile and a good play. Is it realistic, heck no. But where else can you take command of a Yamato class and devestate the Allied fleet?
