This expansion really feels like the complete version of Dawn of War II. It builds on everything from the base game and adds more factions, more campaigns, and more replayability. Pros: (+) Mutible full campaigns (one for each faction) (+) Adds Imperial guards as a new playable (+) Keeps the strong tactical squad based gameplay (+) Improved multiplayer balance compared to earlier version (+) Tons of replay Value depending on faction choice Cons: (-) Campaign can feel repetitive across factions (-),Still no base building (if you preferred the orginal style) (-) Some wargear/abilities feel unbalanced (-) Story isn´t as focused due to multible perspectives Overall, Retribution is the ultimate Dawn of War II experiance. Este juego, es bastante bueno, sinceramente podria decir que no es un buen sucesor del dow 1 por la mayoria de cambios que tuvieron con respecto a ese, pero eso no quita que sea un buen juego, simplemente tomo otro camino y la verdad no es un mal camino. A nivel graficos y campaña es excelente, a nivel jugabilidad tiene un par de cosas que no me gustaron tanto pero esta bien. Por cierto, si alguno lee esta reseña, puede consultar mi perfil de steam si quieren jugarlo con alguien asi me agregan o entran al discord que esta puesto en mi perfil.

I picked a faction. Now I care way too much about space politics. Dawn of War II: Retribution is less about building bases and more about yelling “WHY ARE YOU NOT IN COVER” at your screen. Squads matter, positioning matters, and one bad decision can turn your elite units into red mist. The campaign is cool because you get to see the same story from different factions, which means everyone is both the hero and absolutely unhinged. The combat is tactical, brutal, and very unforgiving if you try to play it like a traditional RTS. If you like strategy games that reward smart plays and punish bad ones immediately, this is great. If you want to relax and casually spam units, the Emperor will not protect you here. For the Emperor. Probably.

With Elite Mod keeping it alive and updating it frequetly this is a gem to cherish. There is no other game that does RTS with melee and ranged units better.

The Story feels like Soulstorm and Dark Crusade in a way as its the same Missions but just Different Factions and different Endings for each faction which I like a lot. but on a good note WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ ARE THE PLAGUE MARINE SO DAMN TANKY. Like holy hell man the fact that they also suppress your troops on deaths is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying like I had to just spam abilities just to even kill them.
