I have a lot of love for this project. I've been following it since 2022. However, my biggest gripe with the game is simply the AI and the scenario editior. The AI is really annoying since they still can't be blocked from making white peace deals or from doing random diplomacy. Because of the obnoxious AI, it feels very discouraging to edit scenarios because the AI will just go off the rails.
This is an excellent game, especially if you don't have time for complicated grand strategy games like the Paradox games (Hearts of Iron) and are looking for something that you can finish in one evening, then this is the game for you. Despite it being simpler it still retains a dose of depth and there are several decision and options you can take that can affect each playthrough and keep you engaged. It's a really good entry if you are new to grand strategy. Also, the game has a mapmaker that allows you to make your own map and you can make your own scenarios
