This is unironically what gaming should be about... 3 minutes into playing this and I'm killing enemies by tapping my microphone and moving files into my C drive to get a damage bonus. This game makes me do things no other game has ever made me do and it makes me smile the stupidest smile. Novelty is still alive in gaming.

Way more fun than I expected going in. Gameplay is standard deflecty Souls fare like Sekiro and Khazan, but 90% of the time you can just hold block and watch enemies crumble. Definitely easier than its influences. The equipment is the star of the show. Really creative item effects that shatter the 4th wall. Some armor grants extra perks when one of your friends is online. Ranged weapons fire when your mic picks up noise, meaning you can actually kill enemies by running around saying "oh god oh man oh god oh man". There's a cursed helmet that gives really good stats, but it replaces all the music with what appears to be bad Chinese karaoke. And to get the full effect of the cursed helmet, you have to increase the music volume in your game settings.

Game of the year right here! Kidding aside, I like that this game doesn’t take itself too seriously. The gameplay is fun, the item descriptions are great, and the puzzles are both funny and creative. The skills are clever too, for example, one sword’s damage scales with how many CPU cores you have, while other items scale with how many friends you have online on Steam. It’s genuinely creative and fun. Also don’t use the voice ability mechanic if you are married, I am now banned from gaming for a while Edit: you also have spin bot ability (yes the counter strike infamous spin bot). IMO, it’s a must-buy to play in between two long games.

short for sure but like the first one pretty ridiculous and enjoyable as a whole. i recommend it at $10 just for how wacky it is but anything under that price is a an absolute pickup just for how silly and solid it is. could it be better and longer? for sure but its totally okay for what it is.
