Pros: - Great character writing and story. Feels like a family movie in all the best ways. - Decent tactical gameplay with some replay value - Engaging sidequests and non-tactical gameplay - Could be a good introduction to turn-based tactics as a genre Cons: - Low tactical depth. I'd compare this to Tactical Breach Wizards or, to a lesser extent, Into the Breach in how it plays, but the game is much less complex than either and the characters are only minimally customisable. Balance is also way out of whack with some characters far surpassing others in power. - Short. I completed the game after 7 hours, completing all sidequests and reading all dialogue. Even 100%ing it would probably only take 2 or 3 more. Conclusion: If you're a long time turn-based tactics fan like me, buy it on sale and pick it up for a light and fun experience, but don't expect it to blow you away with its gameplay.

What a game, absolute sleeper hit for me. You can complete this game in one sitting. In 10 hours I 100% the game including achievements. This game has an incredible amount of charm, likeable characters and a surprisingly engaging story. If you like story rich feel good games you can blow through in a weekend, Then you should play this. All you need to do to decide if this game is for you is to look at the negative reviews, long thought out paragraphs on why people didn't enjoy it. Almost all because the game isn't what they THOUGHT it would be. I don't down vote Dark souls because it isn't a kart racer. If this game is on sale it will cost you the same as bag of crisps, surely you owe it to yourself to try.

This is a simple tactics game where you can just sit and playthrough nearly all in one go. It distributes all its content in a homogeneous way that you will never run out of new things to play with your characters. If you are looking a tactics game where you do not want to simply think complex mechanics, just want to play along, this is the game.
