Wreckfest My favorite racing simulator, the spiritual successor to Flatout from the same developers, which might lag behind Forza Horizon in some aspects but overall has its own advantages. The FuckFest servers, where you're met head-on by seven battle buses at once, where the world's top Wreckfest players compete, and where it can take up to half an hour just to join a server, constantly refreshing the server list to get in and play — it's a lot of fun. It's even more fun if you have a big group of friends, just as goofy as you, to dive into the game together. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3335287998 By the way, the soundtrack (which my pretentious hipster friend called "dad rock") is actually pretty good. I even added a few tracks to my Spotify playlist — solid stuff. Shoutout to DarkWay, who happily uninstalled the game, hoping to never end up in a ditch in his wrecked car again. I'm really looking forward to the recently announced Wreckfest 2 so I can completely wreck him there.

Wreckfest is hands down the BEST racing game I have ever played. Whether you use your keyboard, a controller, or a direct drive racing wheel like I do, you can be competitive. Steam modders have added a ton of great content for Wreckfest. The online racing is awesome and the people who play this game are (mostly) the best. Can't wait for Wreckfest 2
