It took me roughly 3 hours to beat on the regular difficulty, though it felt quite easy so I would recommend if you play to try a higher difficulty. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3695588141 I went into this expecting a parody-like game where you shoot a bunch of ghosts, and while that is sort of what the game is and I did laugh out loud quite a bit from the dialogue, it ended up actually having a very interesting story with characters I cared about. I hope we'll get a sequel one day, because I want to see more of Shiraishi's story. As far as gameplay goes you're mostly shooting down waves of enemies that aren't super bright, but they were never annoyingly/distractingly dumb. There's also a very fun level near the end where you can either stealth through a somewhat large town to your objective, with the ability to even go prone and hide in bushes and drag bodies to hide them, or you can go guns blazing if you want. I would've liked to have seen another level or two like this, it was surpisingly good. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3695589796 I think $10 is maybe a little steep for a 3 hour long game with nearly no replayability, but if the game is on sale then I would absolutely recommend it! I only had 4 complaints that hopefully a patch (or sequel) will address: [*] - The movement animations are very choppy and rough-looking if you play at 60fps, apparently because the developer made the game with 30fps in mind since their PC couldn't run the game higher than that? [*] - Movement in general felt pretty stiff, especially when changing directions. Walking speed was also a little slow. [*] - I would've liked a setting to have dialogue automatically progress rather than needing to keep pressing a button to continue. [*] - The camera often felt claustrophobic, especially while aiming. This game is amazing, stupid fun. If you consider yourself a gamer, just buy it. It's quirky, it's funny, it's unique, it's dumb and it's even a bit janky in all the right ways. This is what indie gaming is all about. The trailer says it all. I don't even have anything else to say. Just buy it. Oh, wait, I do have one other thing to say: *some* of the controls don't work if you have a gamepad plugged in. Some of the controls do work, so you might be tricked into thinking there's nothing wrong, but just unplug your gamepad anyway, otherwise you'll have issues.

Animation: 2/10 Characters: 5/10 Horror: 1/10 (Dayum, It jumpscared me at the very start) Originality: 100/10 Sadako jumping out of an IMAX-sized TV and pulling off a Rider Kick, only for the protagonist to grab a gravestone, smash her with it, and stomp her afterward: 101/10. . . I kept asking myself the entire time I was playing this game, “What am I even playing?” A ordinary high school girl travels to Nara to eliminate unlawful ghosts… using a Japanese-brand tactical firearm. Wow. Even though many aspects aren’t executed particularly well, this game is insanely cool. It’s like natto --- it doesn’t look appetizing at all, but somehow it’s actually delicious. I hope the developer keeps making more games.
