5omeday was okay. You can rush through all the endings in less than an hour. While some would call it short and sweet i really think the emotional attachment the game is trying to invoke would be much better with at least a couple of hours of run time. As it is now there's just not enough time for me to care about Mari that much aside from the superficial level of "protect cute dragon girl". I will say that the Grudge ending really made me laugh out loud with how needlessly cruel it was. Credit where credit's due choices have impact here and you can be an absolute POS if you want to. The effects of which are entertaining to watch so even trying to get all the bad endings has some worth. If you're going to only do the nice ending then quit, i would say spend your money elsewhere. 5omeday is far too short for that. But if you like the premise of pushing the big red button and getting all the endings then go ahead. it's an entertaining enough little VN that only barely justifies the money i spent on it.
So I am going to give this a soft yes if you can buy the game for under 5 dollars. The game is a visual novel where you play the role of an unnamed prison guard watching over a young dragon girl who was sentenced to death within the next five days, your choices can dictate her fate if she is truly condemned or if she is actually innocent. The story is heavy but short, it is very quick as well I got all endings in less than an hour of playtime. some complaints about it though, one its length that is the elephant in the room, you can do a single session in like 5mins or so depending on your choices and reading speed. Second and this goes into spoiler territory so don't read any further if you dont want the plot spoiled.... its very obvious that the dragon girl is innocent, the game would have worked better if there was some more ambiguity that maybe she did do it and not was some persecuted minority with self loathing issues. It would also be better with more signs that the dragon girl was unstable and could be a threat to you, you're given the option to execute her on the spot but if you don't play like a complete monster you're under no real threat by her. overall its a nice little vn you can pick up and finish 100% in an hour.
A nice little visual novel with a heavy premise. You are assigned to guard a dragon girl set to be executed in five days, with a red button in front of you that ends her life on the spot whenever you want. Do not go in expecting a long story. The five days are up way too quickly, and one playthrough is over in roughly five minutes. That is the whole shape of the game. With thirteen endings branching off your choices, your patience, and your trust, the runtime is meant to be short. Did I like it? Yes, it was nice. I mean sure way too short. But it doesn't advertises to be something else. For 6 bucks, an easy recommend if you like quiet, choice-driven VNs and do not need dozens of hours of content.
