This is not a full review with my full feelings, but so far this game seems quite good. I just want to quickly chime in and say PLEASE DEAR GOD remove the part of your level-up window that taunts you with "you would earn more from this level if you had a more expensive version of the game", it's horrendous. Even if you don't remove that *mechanic* of it rewarding more for paying more, you simply must remove it mocking you for spending only 30 dollars. People will legit refund your game for a sin this great, you have made a tremendous error with it. I am half tempted to mark my review as "not recommended" to try to apply pressure for Matter Team to fix this, but I honestly don't think it deserves the negative reviews it already has on the basis of the lack of a total gear wipe, and I don't want to add to the problem of negative reviews swarming this game. I will give a proper yes or no review at a later date probably.

I'm a huge fan of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Escape from Tarkov, so this game looked interesting, but the gameplay and a few nitpicks threw me off. First off, I'm a PVP player, so I did a couple of raids, and the lobbies are filled with bots that pad out empty lobbies. Also, the game seems to have minimal to no inertia, which caught me off guard, since running around and Mario-jumping everywhere wasn't on my list. The gunplay felt good, sound design is decent, and graphics are great. The anomalies were awesome, and the in-game performance was solid on my rig with maxed-out settings. The UI looks bad and overbloated. I refunded the game, but give it a try, maybe it's for you, especially if you like playing PvE in extraction shooters. It's not a bad game overall, just not for me.

i mean idk what all the fuss is about i see a lot of bad reviews from a lot of people so i tried it for myself...honestly its really not a bad game the pve mode is fun and can scare the crap out of you....some people just like to complain a lot instead of just enjoying the game ill give it an 8/10 for sure the looting aspect is good the gun play is decent the graphics are pretty amazing and the monsters will scare tf outta you dont believe every bad review you see frfr

So far I've only played(and plan to keep it that way) solo PvE, and was surprised by this game. The optimization is really, really good, gunplay feels nice, movement is really fluid. But the atmosphere, the intensity when you're on a raid, without this, it would just be another game of the popular genre of the moment. The devs nailed it.
