Playable offline with bots. It's what multiplayer games should be. Thank you Strangely Interactive. I hope you guys are making a new game. EDIT: This game is what Battlefront 3 should have been. Giant space battles and lots of weapons, gadgets, and different ways to play. The gunplay is decent for an indie title, its worth the money if you want to scratch your itch for large scale battles. EDIT: Bots in a multiplayer game keep the community, no matter how small, running. Making players always able to find a server that is just as chaotic as if it was full of real players. How many multiplayer games over the years have died and are now unplayable? Unless you are a streamer/youtuber that can gather people together on a whim, your favorite multiplayer games are dead and gone. Try to find a full Battlefield 3 server with the Armored kill dlc. Not going to happen. Games like Counter-Strike: Source, Tribes 2, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and Battlefield 2 are 20 years old and you can boot them up right now and play them because they have bots. Will you be able to do that with Overwatch, Tribes 3, most Gears of War games, most Halo games, War Thunder, Rainbow Six Siege, or Helldivers 2 when the community drops below a few hundred players a day globally? Bots in the servers or in singleplayer let you always play your game, any map, any mode, at any time. Bots are the game preservation tool of multiplayer games. Thank you again Strangely Interactive for having the forethought of realizing an Indie multiplayer game might need help filling their servers as the game grows (and dies) in popularity.

I'll tell you the biggest problem with AFF: It makes similar games look bad. From now on, in other games I'm always going to go "what do you mean I can't fly to the enemy capital ship, board it, shoot the captain, make its reactor go critical, and escape in an enemy fighter all with no loading screens?" Other games have always insisted "you can't do all that, it's just not possible!" but AFF proves them wrong. It also proves that bots can be good enough to play complex and dynamic assault-style maps all on their own, rather than just following a human around and occasionally shooting at something. Offline and online are both fun, here. Unless you hate FPS games, definitely give Angels Fall First a try!

This games amazing, its a delight, i dont really play it much more, or at all really, but the devs after a decade KEEP GOING WITH IT im inactive and a ghost in their discord and let me tell you every single week even with a near dead community at their lowest these devs would ALWAYS host community events and ALWAYS reach out to the community. They care, they give a damn, try the damn game, or atleast toss some funds at them.

Biggest draw of this game for me is that you can host a single player offline server with good AI, and that you can also host online with AI which means you can still have fun with some friends without having to go into a full on dedicated server. Unfortunately it does rather taxes your system to host a game but it is what it is. Space combat is great, ground combat feels dated in some QoL aspects but workable. Another thing is that this game dates back its history from a mod for UT2004 and it's reaching 1.0 in near future. In this age of hamfisted always online era and AI slop, this is one of those truly indie title with a dev team that has passion behind what they made reaching their gold release, if you ever are an indie industry supporter, this one is worth checking out. The game lets you jump right into action, so just read the controls and get lost in the game, if it doesn't fancy you, refund before 2 hours. But definitely, definitely, check this title out.
