I highly recommend the game. Pros: Lots of characters who each bring their own style of play to the table. Each character makes the game feel like you are playing a slightly different version and is a very nice change to most games where another character just means a passive skill. Lots of varieties of chips available, they each let you win in different ways, changing the rules of the game in fun and challenging ways. Nice quick games, roughly 30mins each which is nice for a pick up game whenever. Clean and aesthetically pleasing art style. Cons: Can be frustrating when you don't know why you lose, or some games when you are unable to do anything but pass. Lack of meta progression and/or things to unlock to keep you coming back for more Lack of items in the store, adding a few items in the store or more options to customise your deck etc. would make a huge difference. Overall I think this game brings something different and is fun and makes you feel smart when you line up the perfect hands, I would highly recommend this game to anyone reading this as I have to all my gamer friends

I love the gameplay, since I love Tichu and I love rogue titles. That being said, for a full release (not early access) the translations are charmingly bad and the steam achievements are not even translated at all, yet. No dealbreaker for me, but I can see that being a dealbreaker for many. Take this as a cautionary thumbs up and be warned.

This game is absurdly nostalgic for me. I ran track in high school some 20 years ago. At a state track meet some guys from another school taught me a game that plays exactly like this. You deal out the deck, someone plays a poker hand, everyone else has to match it but higher or pass, if play passes pack to you, you get to pick the new hand played. They called it 'killer'. I've been teaching this game to friends for 20 years when we had a deck and some down time. I had honestly thought it was just some regional game to play when bored. It was shocked to see a variant of it from Asia. 10/10, thanks for the memories.
