I love it! But... GAMEPLAY You start with a simple balanced character, but later playstyles get way more specialized and chaotic. At first I had NO idea what was happening, but after a few runs everything slowly started making sense. Of course, I still lose most of my runs (probably 90%), but that’s part of the fun! It’s a roguelike /gambling game. For me, losing is expected, and winning feels amazing when it finally happens. I mostly play this game while watching tv on my laptop, or just hanging out with the kids. It doesn't take a lot of focus - until it gets serious! 👍🏻 Pros: * Gorgeous pixel art * You can change the graphics style from super retro/pixel-y to really smooth and modern-looking * Fun character designs * Unlockable cosmetics and different playstyles/classes * Every run feels chaotic and different * The Biologist class is insanely fun * Animal coins can completely change your run * Very addictive “one more run” gameplay * Great game to play while relaxing or watching TV 👎🏼Cons: * The tutorial moves WAY too fast * Text automatically continues after a few seconds * Doesn’t give players enough time to actually read and process information * Throws a huge amount of mechanics at you all at once My biggest frustration started with the tutorial. I have a learning disability, and while I can read fast, I tend to reread instructions a few times to make sure I understand them before moving on. This game doesn’t let you do that. The tutorial keeps progressing automatically after a few seconds, even if you’re still reading. That might not sound like a huge issue to some people, but for players like me, or honestly anyone who reads slower, it becomes really frustrating. MOST of the time, if a game has a bad tutorial, I stop playing immediately because it usually tells me how the rest of the game is going to feel. Thankfully, the actual game itself is really fun, but the tutorial seriously needs an option to continue manually.

The first few runs feel like brainrot but after a little bit, it turns into skilled brainrot. Eventually you'll do what I did and find an infinite, and spend 7 hours on a single run, getting a score of 1.5e3193. At that point in time your brain will melt out of your skull, but it'll be worth it.

I love this game. Some reviews will be out there like "its not a real coin pusher game" and I'm like: 1. how many of us actually play coin pushers that wanted a 1 for 1 simulation of that and 2. was everything about this game described to you in the summary and trailers hard for you to interpret that you mistakengly thought this was going to be a real coin pusher simulator? That's like someone buying Balatro thinking it was real poker and all the luck based roguelike elements came out of left field for you. That's not a fair review, its you complaining about your lack of understanding. It's a roguelike game where as there are many perks you can unlock and use during your "runs." Just like with any roguelike, again advertised as such, you're relying on luck and a bit of strategy for a successful playthrough. A bunch of things to unlock, more characters, more machines, etc. It's all I could hope for. Pros: - Lots to unlock - Bit of strategy with physics involved - Cute designs, rewarding animations Cons: - some rounds you can score really big only to just lose that momentum in the next round - It gets really slow when you lose momentum, there's a speed button but I wish it was faster.

Great game put 20+ hours into the Demo, runs perfectly on the steam deck but I strongly recommend turning down 3d pixelation to low or super low as the standard is too pixelated for the steam deck resolution

Where do I begin? I have put an ungodly amount of time into the demo. When the first demo was removed I actually felt like I'd suffered a serious loss. I was ecstatic when the next demo was up. This game is everything. As someone that has always loved the 2p machines here in our seaside town arcades this game scratches that itch in an amazing way. The price for this game is also a pleasent surprise. There is SO much content and so much to unlock. 100's of different ways to win a round. If you enjoy Balatro, Cloverpit, Scritchy Scratchy and similar games you will love this. Gambling rogue lite seems like such a niche but so far this is my favourite game in this niche! It's a game anyone can play and enjoy but there are also lots of ways to master it. WARNING: YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LIFE AND YOUR FREEDOM TO THIS GAME (Being held hostage to it right now)
