April 2026
This might be long, writing after playing almost 48 hours and doing probably every mission I had. Firsty. If you want to play game with finished endings, don't do it. It's not available right now, you can just finish all missions that are available right now (which actually made me lowkey mad because I thought after one year of early access there are available endings... at least part of them). Secondly. It's not the same game like Chernobylite (1). First part was much darker and with much more slavic jokes (at least it was for me). Is it bad? No, at least not for me, I got used to this. It's just diffrent but not in bad way. Open world, lots of places to unlock, more survival stuff than in part one. More ways of fighting, more weapons, more diffrent chernohostes, etc. It this way I'd say it's more like playing stalker 2. And what was improtant to me - even if locations looks familiar or even the same, it doesn't mean you will do the same things as you did in previous ones. It might be a hidden mission there or Chernobylite's mystery. That makes you want to check new places. Thirdly. Bugs. Still much to repair, but they don't make a game unplayable. The longer you play, the more you will see and the more unfinished things you see or listen (and it's not only unrecorded english VA). Usually they are just more annoying (hope here producents read this too because this might help in patches). Like doubled Alina (after she told she doesn't feel good in base; second one disappeared randomly like after 35 hours of playing), companions who told they will help you and do nothing (especially in one mission in Mercs when companions said they will help me in killing monster, Luka was just standing and looking in nowhere), workshops flying like 0,5 m above a surface in room in base (especially in planewalker's room in my case), [here a small spoiler] mission with Baba Yaga and accusing Yuri despite he was dead in my case since at least a few days... It wasn't logical. Sometimes after click "F" on portal nothing was happening too... despite I should be transported. Loading game again was usually enough. One time I couldn't finish a mission with Borya because "there are enemies nearby" but there actually weren't (near last of available missions). Again - loading again and fighting agai. Fourthly. Suggestions. I'd maybe add a possibillity that your companion may die if they are helping you in fighting or something. I'd also change workshops in rooms into more "logical" ways, I mean - it's annoying in the long run when you can make armor upgrade in one room but you have to change the room to install it. From not playable things - I'dd just add more slavic humour, gimme my gopnik and hardbass! Damn, I miss Misha and Sashko from part one so much... There are also lots of AI quotes but I get it because it's early access still. I'd also add damage when you fall, without that I feel lowkey weird. Also - I almost forgot - advanced workshops for armours was doing upgrades for weapons. And this one for weapons - was doing for armours. And no, loading again didn't help this time. Anyway, I just god mad that I cannot finish game and find out what actually had happened when I finally claimed I'm interested in plot and have a few theories to check. To sum up... Yeah, it's still lots of things to improve and it has a potential. As I said in first paragraph, don't play if you want to know endings. In other cases - go ahead, it's really good game and as I read, producents will add ukrainian VA in the future (Russian VA was adding atmosphere in part one so much). Hope they will finish it soon because I really want to come back and find out what actually had happened and what actually black stalker wants... and which Igor exactly he is. And what's my one companion's plan. I would even say more but don't want to spoiler. Good luck, guys.

Unfortunately people expected more of Chernobylite 1. Despite that, this game is very well made, with a ton of solid quests, progression and more rpg like elements. And it's still in EA Its not cherno 1 Its something else. For me, its even better than the first. More like stalker, to be fair Definitely worth a try if you like the genre

Enjoying this a lot more than the original. + Large open map Scavenging Crafting Base building, you can place rooms and decorate them too. Lots to build. Runs good but then the graphics are no where near stalker 2. - Had one crash during tutorial Can't enter a lot of buildings (housing complex) Some loot placement doesn't make sense, crates in random places Enemies are tied to locations, you don't come across random patrols or scavengers moving from one location to another like in the original stalker games. (This may change with updates)

It definitely needs some extra love. And yeah, it have some sci-fi ♥♥♥♥, too much sci-fi, honestly. But I believe that it will become the game we love. The developers listen to their audience and do a lot to improve the game. I wish them to go this way and get the recognition this game deserves. I recommend it in advance, because I believe in the developers.

Has little to do with the first game, and that's good. It feels fresh within the Stalker genre and the devs are really ambitious with their vision. Still needs work but I recommend it. Чики-брики
