a lot of dark sectors appeal for me comes from the fact that as someone who pays attention to details and references to dark sector in warframe i like seeing where concepts came from especially the technocyte and i wish DE could do something like a dark sector update/sequel or warframe update that could further link the two games asides from the technocyte being able to transverse timelines and realities especially since we already have both proto excaliber, haydens glave, and nemesis nyx in warframe

This was the first game I ever played, back in 2015 I guess, I used to have a laptop with an integrated graphics card and 4 GB RAM. This game would scare the shit out of me with the sound effects and jumpscares, and how incredibly overpowered the bosses would be. I couldn't complete the game back then though. It was a CD type thing, not from Steam. Today I finally finished it, I beat not only the game, but also a challenge I never thought I could overcome, since it is that kind of a horror that takes place at a young age signifying that it is impossible to beat. I have had over 3.5k hours in CSGO/CS2, and after all that mechanical improvement, plus the prior knowledge I had, I was able to beat the game in about 6 hours. I am pretty sure I will replay this, I don't care how old this gets, how outdated the graphics might be, it was, and still remains my favorite game of all time. I had no idea back then of any other game so this always seemed so much ahead of it's time back then. This has a special place in my heart. Even to this date, it is completely compatible, I am playing this on Windows 11, and faced no issues whatsoever, runs smooth like butter. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone and everyone, simply because it is my childhood love. Edit: I just saw the trailer for dark sector on steam, and trust me, if you are here reading this, wondering if you should buy, I have to tell you that the video on the store page is in bad quality but the graphics of this game are way better than what you see over there.

Ignore the negative reviews, the game is good. It was a good attempt by Digital Extremes to make a franchise and it inspired Warframe.

I like the game. It feels like a 2009 game for sure, which I don't mind. I didn't have to patch anything or set settings compatibility mode, it just works for me. Windows 11, RTX 3060.
