I absolutely salute you on a job well done. I've played all your other games, so I understood the many Easter egg references and tie-ins, which were a real treat. It's been wild to see your body of work progressing onward and upward over the years, culminating in this excellent game. It's clear you put an enormous amount of work into it. Thank you very much for making this! Loved it.

Scriptwelder is the greatest indie developer in existence (in my opinion). The Don't Escape games were my absolute favorite back when I played on Armor Games a lot. I remember forgetting how to get the perfect ending for Don't Escape 2 every couple months and playing through it again and figuring out all the puzzles again. That's definitely one of my fonder memories of playing games in my young childhood. I remember playing Don't Escape 3 and being shocked by the ending twist. Then, I saw Markiplier's first couple episodes of Don't Escape 4 and was amazed that that seemingly tiny indie dev had made a full game. I got it, and was surprised when the game wasn't even the same as what I saw Markiplier play. I beat it, and was fully satisfied with the story. Later, I saw that the Don't Escape trilogy was on sale on steam. Wait, what's this... Deep Sleep? How had I never heard of this series from the developer of my favorite flash series? I bought both, and played through all the Deep Sleep games. Wow... to put it simply, I was blown away by the story in just the few hour experience of the three games. I decided one day to check back in on Markiplier's series of Don't Escape 4. Why does he have 7 videos? There's only 4 days. True ending??? I played through the game again, completing the true ending. Having played the Deep Sleep trilogy, I was blown away. I'm still absolutely amazed by the masterpiece that is Don't Escape 4. I immediately checked Scriptwelder's steam page to see if there was anything else I missed. Nothing I had missed, though, he did have a game in the works... this game. I added it to my wishlist, and eventually got it once it was on sale. This game is amazing!!! Scriptwelder doesn't miss. I was excited to see how the universe's story tied in to this game. It was definitely different, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the story and the gameplay was refreshing coming from the other games. This was certainly a proper installment of the Don't Escape-Deep Sleep universe. Didn't disappoint. Scriptwelder, thanks for such good memories, good stories, and good games.

The game is really good But it feels like the game ended prematurely i have the sneaking suspicion that there was a lot of cut content Anyway needless to say the story falls off and the finale is anticlimactic Also i wished the meta progressions was slightly cheaper for i had to repeat two levels twice in order to obtain enough meta progress to acquire the necessary point to unlock a key item for the puzzle All an all compared to previous installments theres a heep of progress but i wish second half of the game had some more finesse Looking forward to the hinted sequel

scriptwelder continues to outdo himself time and time again. An amazing game that answers questions we've had for a long time, but still leaves us with plenty of wondering to do. Lots of tricky puzzles without anything being *too* tricky, and having dream layouts change gives lots of room for replayability. I was nervous about the idea of combat, but it plays like a puzzle of its own. Overall, a fantastic addition to the series. Can't wait for whatever is next!
