A unique tower defense with a fun story and some very challenging endgame content. The game's engine struggles quite a bit when there is a lot of happening on the screen and using higher speeds, often crashing the game. You can lift some pressure from the engine by setting CPU affinity to a single core and cutting down some game settings, especially particle effects.
I am really enjoying this Tower Defense TD game. The Heroes and Writing feel great. Do know there are some random bug issues (like hiring heroes and their appearance changing) or random crashes. The latter little more annoying, but unless doing an endless run the game autosaves frequently enough you shouldn't lose progress. Side note, be sure to READ THE JOURNAL. Adds more entertaining context to the game
