Artwork is just as beautiful as it looks in the trailers throughout. Story and gameplay work together really elegantly. Both are inventive, complex and have surprising depth. Picked this up on an off-chance and it's ended up being an all-timer. Great work from the Unexpected Team - this game very much lives up to their name.
Had a good time with it, despite some jankiness and bugs here and there. With that said, I don't know if there is any more value for me to get out of this game, even though there are planned gameplay additions and features with 1.0 release in September. Best of luck to the developers in their future project. I will surely stick around to see what they come up with :)
The game offers high-quality content. It’s easy to pick up, and you can start multiple sessions fairly quickly. The game is still in early access and shows good development progress, but there are still some minor issues. The game doesn’t seem well-balanced to me, and I sometimes find myself in battles that last several dozen turns.
