extremely fun and solid 3D platformer with excellent movement and lots of fun upgrades to mix and match with, if they add a level editor in the future, this game will basically be perfect

I don't think I'd ever see a platformer with Wind Waker traversal but here we are. On its way to matching the personality of Hat in Time. There's a paralyzing amount of choice in the movesets that will intimidate most who are not used to platformers but once you put in around 30 minutes, you'll learn what matches your playstyle. I do have to say that the game feel is still a bit floaty to keep me immersed but it plays great and will click with most platformers. You are not railroaded into what moves to use in game. Game audio feels like it needs a bit more refining, in some places the sync or lack of audio keeps me out of being immersed. The foundation is strong, Very charming and unique. No idea how this isn't trending in top selling even with the blemishes. This developer is also putting out Bubsy 4D later in the year.

A brilliant 3D platformer. I expected nothing less in regards to both gameplay and visuals. Fantastic variety too. Buy it now. It plays a lot like Bowser's fur(r)y, but if it was actually a complete game. Good soundtrack, as it should be. Difficulty-wise Demon Tides isn't afraid of having both easy and challenging levels, just as the first game. My one complaint I have is the bizarre lack of voice acting in the beautiful cutscenes. They were clearly designed with voice acting in mind. I don't know what happened, budgetary issues? (The only voice acted cutscenes are the Ragnar flashbacks) Really is a shame. Bubsy is getting voice acting, why not the franchise that put you on the map? This game is almost perfect.

Most fun I've had with a 3D Platformer since Hat in Time (And Pseudoregalia). Up there with my favourite. There's a bit of jank here and there, but overall feels like a joy to play. Base moveset is already quite complete, but the Talisman system makes it quite customizable and in endgame lets you feel overpowered. The game does have a sizeable amount of content, and took me about 22-25 hours to 100%. Graphics are cute, islands are varied enough, Music is incredible. Writing is... Eh. Beebz is a very likeable character, and most of the friends are okay, with the exception of DK who's a bit obnoxious. The story is discrete but a bit touching. I liked it for what it was. Anyways, this one's an easy recommendation.
