Having beaten everything in the game except for boss rush mode, I can honest say that this game is great! Don't listen to all the haters out there, I can safely say that the combat feels quite different than Hollow Knight and the parry system is very deep in the game. Not only do you just press a button to parry, but eventually you unlock a dash parry and an attack parry. Sure, some of the biomes feel like HK, but the details are clearly different. I wish it was completed enough that you can actually finish the game instead of getting a "thank you for playing" screen after walking to the next area after one of the boss fights. I seem to have gone through the game much quicker than others as well but I revisted every area and found roadblocks (a sign with a big X on it) for areas that have not been finished yet. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and I got my money'f worth already. I would like to add that this game gets a lot of hate due to the devs sending a copy to a content creator, who unironically refers to himself as "god-gamer" and that guy blasted this game in his review. I won't go on too long about it, but this guy has a huge fanbase of people who decided to hate this game because he did, so keep that in mind when reading the reviews. I would be willing to bet that some people bought the game with the intention of refunding it immediately just to write a bad review.

Very nice game! Yes it feels a bit like a Hollow Knight copy but in a good way! Please upgrade it soon <3

We got Hollow Knight 2 before Silksong. Jokes aside it's a good game. You can feel that it is not some soulless copy, as many haters would like claim. The small team put their love in it just like Team Cherry for their game did and the faithful adherence to the enviromental art style of Hollow Knight seems to be out of genuine appreciation of the source material rather than laziness. Look at it this way: if you like the Beatles and some new band is emulating their musical style as a tribute to them, you should be able to like that band too, right? Regarding the combat it is more about blocking than dodging, so it's more like Nine Sols than Hollow Knight in that regard. Be aware that the game is not finished though and wait for the full release if you don't want to gamble on the early access sale. Also don't go in expecting the quality and depth of GOATs like Nine Sols and Hollow Knight.

It's very similar to the game Hollow Knight. The gameplay is great, the creatures are nicely created, the music is soothing, but sometimes too sad. Maybe it wouldn't be bad to incorporate a bigger plot into it. Yes, you are a Deviator, who, for now, has the task of collecting the dead souls of fallen Deviators, but that's it. I wouldn't be afraid to add more characters as side characters. The game would be more fun right away. I would also like to mark different places on the map where I know there is something, but I can't do that right now. What bothered me the most at the beginning of the game was that you had one given direction of gameplay. For example, when you had a choice between two paths, one of them didn't lead anywhere, so you had to choose the second path anyway. It would be really good to have more paths to choose from at one time, and each one would have its own dungeon. I don't know if it's me, but the boss in chains and the knight took me several hours to beat. Maybe it wouldn't be bad to make it a little easier. The currency is original. I didn't expect it to fly at all. I liked that, but without the magnet ability it would be pain and suffering. I was very interested in the fact that I could see myself on the map right from the start. At least I didn't get lost. Deviator's corpse is 2 hits and doesn't move. A great idea for me. In Hollow Knight, it attacked you, so it was a total obstacle. Putting Psy on jellyfish is great. I used it many times. The abilities or runes are good. Especially the one that collects Psy for you, the in-game currency. On March 23, 2025, when I finished the game, the game is not yet fully completed. You can find signs with a red cross on the map, where you can't go any further. I didn't understand what it was about. I thought I had to find something or something, but after killing the knight guarding the entrance to the palace, I found out that the game was still in development. I appreciate the ability to teleport from one jellyfish to another. It saves a lot of time. For a while, I was afraid that there wouldn't be any secret passages behind the stone wall in this game, but fortunately there are and there are not many of them. The game has potential. Personally, I enjoy it, but it's missing something. Probably the most likely option to have more possible directions that would lead to more dungeons. There was once such an option. Once... But I guess it depends if you go from the bottom or the top. I have 22 hours of gameplay recorded, but a lot of that time was taken up by bosses. I guess I'm just not used to these types of games. My overall rating is 8/10. Hopefully the full version will come out eventually.

This game has potential. Clearly inspired by hk but its a great example on how to do it right. The healing system definitely needs a buff. The amount of hits for one fraction of health back is ridiculous
