This game does not try to be something it's not. it's simply a rogue lite action RPG, with more than enough to do for 30-60+ hours if you like a challenge. If not you prolly beat the first setting in 2 hours ish. As you increase the challenge, the more tactical you must be. Don't get greedy lol. More challenge isn't just more health or damage from the enemies, but it will introduce new mechanics / abilities. This has not been released long and I have seen the devs updating and making fixs / tweeks / balancing yada. I enjoy this game and haven't had a moment of calling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to the mobs hit boxes or any janky ♥♥♥♥. Very fluid combat, very balanced cancel roll mechanics once you gitgud, mess up timing on ability cancel out and tactically reposition. Nothing seems to 100% lock you down. Hope the devs keep working on this great game.
A little bit of Hades, a little bit of Wizard of Legend, a little bit of Dark Souls, some of it's own ideas, and REALLY satisfying combat to top it off. The English translations need work, mostly in terms of consistent keyword usage on talents. Some things feel like they could use a little more depth, namely the weapons, and armour currently serves as nothing more than a cosmetic. As far as roguelites go, I'd give it a 6/10 (again a little more depth in the weapons will go a long way), and it will probably be the best one with this art style until Witchfire comes out.
this game is gucci if you want to relax but keep your reflexes up +animations are cool and smooth +5 weapons build variation find your own playstyle +grind system of course only if you want to :P +booby characters +boss mechanics are cool and should not be underestimated :D +fun with friends ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - takes a while to learn all kind mechanics - plenty of little bugs and glitches (not gamebreaking but some are annoying ) overall rating 8/10 good game i will spend another 30+ hours beating higher difficulties -
It has its merits on being good for a early development game, but it still requires much more content, improvement on the combat and more other stuff. I'll add my 2 cents on a few things. 1st- A better UI would be a start like seeing my companions health status and their artifact charge too. Also seeing what Buffs or debuffs are active would be a nice touch to help recognize whats what during combat. 2nd-Fire debuffs from enemies are a pain. Please have the combat rolling used to help put out the fire debuff. 3rd-The greatswords range and damage can use some toning up. not the whirlwind attacks, normal attacks. Played with 2 other players with different weapons and they dealt more damage than me due to both dps and base damage. besides my complaints its rather fun so far so keep up the good work.
