I waited a little bit to buy this game! Truly wish I would have bough it sooner. The story is interesting and the world is fun to be in. From my understanding this is an independent company making this game. I hope they are able to keeping adding to this! Its not 100% polished but overall the game is great.

I find this game to be incredibly cozy. It's a nice and simple blend of action-adventure, tower defense and base building and I was surprised at how absorbed I got into this game (I pretty much spent a whole weekend playing), just exploring the available islands, planning out my colonies and resource camps and strategically setting up my defenses in between idle wanderings and questing. And best of all? You're a DWARF — the best fantasy race ever! Obviously, as the steam page suggests, this game is still in early access. So don't expect a completely bug-free and fleshed out experience. But what the game offers thus far is certainly enough to content with until future patches.

Overall, I think this is a fun game. At the time of writing this I have about 7 hours into it and am on the 3rd of 4 islands available in Early Access. - Building is pretty straight forward, grid based - Resources are at the top - Note: Mana does not show at the top, it would be nice if there was an easier way to see how much mana a base is using, took me until the 3rd island to figure out that if you hover over the extractor it will tell you the net positive/negative - Enemies - Fights are okay. The Mech does a good job feeling strong. It'd be nice to see some different animations for the basic enemies. Their movement feels clunky. Maybe they can run on all fours when they come at you? Enemies will attack your base so setting up turrets and walls is a must, which I think is great! That being said, I think the enemy attacks are a bit too frequent. I'll have built a bit and then wandered and I'm being attacked again. Having the ability to name settlements or have them numbered as you place them and then having them call out for assistance when an attack is starting would be helpful. Could put an icon on the screen of a horn with ))) (like soundwaves) over one of the buildings. When playing split screen the screen animation when being attacked or about to be attacked only shows for the person in the Mech/Dwarf player. Whomever is the dragon doesn't see it, but can see a circular cloud around the Mech/Dwarf that is dark. Overall, a fun game that my son and I will be playing for a while and are looking forward to!

The developers seem to have imagination; something that's lacking with many today. This is a very novel game. At the heart of the game is a symbiosis between a dwarf, mech and dragon. You can switch between all of them, each being unique. You collect resources, build defensive settlements and aim to grow. The game looks very nice and the play is very smooth. This truly is something different and I appreciate that. It would be a lot of fun playing co-op. If they keep polishing and adding to this already solid game, they're going to end up with a diamond. I'm very glad I bought this game. It will go well with my thousand plus STEAM games. It's a very welcome addition to my library.

What a positively marvelous gem - I had never heard of it and randomly it came across my Google feed. Highly recommend playing with a friend - the asymmetric coop is really, really cool. Having a bird's (dragon's) eye ally who can see and attack from above and then hot swap into the dwarf while you're clomping around on the mech.. sooo fun! So far, extremely minor and very few bugs, very engaging game play and story arch. I can't wait to see what more they add in the tech trees, but it's already a very solid and enjoyable game blending exploration, puzzles, crafting, and some tower/wall point defense.
