Worth the buy 8/10 Overall a good game, it begins feeling repetitive after a bit. There are some great bones but it lacks some of the nitty gritty trade off type choices that would propel it to the next level. Seems like there is intended to be about 10-15 hours worth of game, but honestly I'm not sure it will hold my attention for quite that long. Feels like the saying "here for a good time, not a long time".

when I was completely depressed and unable to enjoy playing video games, this title, Forward Escape From the Fold kind of brought me back. Played this game a bit. I have big faith in the developer. Forward is a great original idea that plays well.

I bought this game because I liked the developers second game, Pyrene. This game is very similar, and its mechanics are clearly the building blocks of Pyrene. I do like this art style a lot more though, darker and pixelated. I also like the music. Forward: Escape the Fold is a very simple game with very short runs, but it's fun to play and is well made. I bought it on sale, and it's definitely worth the ~4 euros I spent on it.
