Firstly I have to mention the AI art in this game. You choose if this affects your purchase decision. I really enjoy this game. It itches my brain the right way. This game is roguelike deck-building turn-based card tower defense game. A LOT of cards. Many playable characters. A LOT of upgrades and builds you can try. Dice throws decide the outcome of your decisions/rewards. And you can even alter the dice score. Lock or unlock the cards you want to see in your game. Many difficulty levels. There is even restart battle and last turn option. Game has unique enough mechanics and gameplay that make it stand out of other same genre games. I really like the tower defense style card laying you do on columns. Translation is okaish... but sometimes hard to understand. I'm not that good in english and I could come with better translations for the game.

Leaving this review 73 hours into the game. Cleared a final boss run on highest difficulty with the Wave Arrow Tower stacking it's HP to 7500 to one shot the boss. Was it a long fight? Yes. Was it fun? Certainly. I've been doing the final boss runs using each commander's special effect at least once. I'm currently doing the advance passives and encountered the first clear where I literally have no idea what's going on! I decided to leave a review because this experience totally sums up the game. Any deck can be broken. Most of the times, you'll need to understand how the mechanics work, but sometimes the games throws this things that makes you question how. Was this clear a bug? I hope it can be checked XD Anyways, check the bottom part if you want to buy the game. Consider this: What I like: * Replayability - Very high - It's RNG, but kinda controllable. Difficult scales but it can be done. * Gameplay - it's game mechanics have a unique flavor - it's simple, but it gets complicated because the D&D aspect of Rolling to get results on events highly affects your run. * The available factions are plenty - you'll probably stop playing before trying everything, but I guarantee that if you thought of trying something, it can be done, and it will be fun. * Event dialogues are awesome - translation is okay. *Music/Sound is <3 This game is not for you if: You have low contextual understanding - there are a lot of descriptions that feels short, specially regarding the effects of the cards. This might take a while of trial and error before understanding how things work. You cannot get it if you just read it, you must dedicate a trial run to understand. You don't want to spend time learning - the learning curve here is steep. I'm on 70+ hours and to be honest, I haven't tried checking half of what the different card effects do. No time - Like most card-building games, this will take time. Although the rougelike elements do add flavor, runs may take from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on how bad you've built your deck. There is only one saved game - you can only go back to your previous campaign, and starting a new game will delete the previous one. --------------- TLDR: Buy this if you wanna dive deep 50+ hours to a game that will not explain a lot of things and you'll need to figure things out on your own. YOU ARE A LORD SO FIGURE IT OUT. Byeeeeeee

Strong concept for a game. Some language barrier, so a little ambiguous with the card descriptions in some cases, etc, but can live with it. I've only just started it, so haven't really begun to touch on the synergies, but from what I did play, I enjoyed it, and got a taste for the tactics and synergies you can develop within one of the games Houses (which are essentially the different decks). If you like Roguelite Deckbuilders, and want a game that is unique, fast paced, and offers a lot of variety for synergies and tactics, it will definitely be worth checking out. Just be ready for some minor translation issues, and also some ambiguous wording on the cards (although this is also minor. It's not all the cards).

Made it through the first game and had fun. Here are some thoughts. First, while I dont think tower defense is the right term for this game i do understand why they put it. Perhaps wave defense would be better. Enemy units start on the right hand side of the screen and you place units in columns that enemies arent present in to defend that column. If overrun you can no longer put units into the lost column until you push the enemy back. But with reinforcements from the enemy constantly coming that can be a challenge. There are several different factions that had seemingly different abilities and even structures that you can add to your board. Enemies had special effects that allowed them to do "stuff" such as multiple attacks per turn, but while it would show up when a new enemy was introduced i had problems trying to discern what special ability any one enemy had, There was a "Chalice" or "Ritual" ability which i think had something to do with either when i kill a unit the enemy gets a buff or the enemy kills its own unit and then gets a buff. It was unclear and when hovering over an enemy either i missed it or it just wasnt there as an explanation. overall id say a 8/10, brought a new board to an old genre. That being said as a warning, although since i only finished one game maybe there is more. But it was short, and either i missed it or its part of a second run but there wasnt any endless mode option which would have been nice.
